@@Anon-mx7db I liked the accommodation itself and where it was on campus but my flat mates all loved to party and that wasn’t me, but Alcuin itself I loved where it was and the rooms and everything😊

@@Anon-mx7db only two of my flatmates did medicine, and there were 12 of us, they came out maybe once or twice but most of the time they stayed in, but they joined societies and things and they seemed happy, if you have good flatmates they won’t pressure you into clubbing x
@@alexsmith1800 ah okay thanks. I’m quite a shy person so I’m worried about making friends at uni, I don’t mind nights out but I don’t think I could party every week 😂

Might sound like a daft question but when do you find out what activities and stuff you’re going to be doing during freshers week? Like do they tell you which nights will be a certain theme (like the Hawaiian night) or do you kind of just find out when you get there and have to go and buy stuff on the day??
Also when do you buy your college hoodies? I’m trying to keep money aside because I feel like my bank account is going to take a bit of a hit the first week
Hey! I’m not exactly sure how they’ll do it this year because of Covid but we got a timetable on the facebook freshers group and then you could prepare outfits! But there were still people that went to town and bout stuff together once they arrived at uni :)
I’m pretty sure you can buy college hoodies in freshers week. I know there’s a merch shop on campus west that will be open! Also think you can get them online. Hope this helps 😁
