    Salute for the 1k Subs. Dropping a couple more things today so be on the look for that. Awkward phone interview for Reasonable Doubt. Interviewer doesn't seem too interested in him and hov not really entertaining his questions either. He does talk about rap being a young mans game and what he feels about Das EFX.

    I wouldn't even say this is an awkward interview Hov just isn't one to overshare, clearly not a talkative individual. If anyone was awkward it was the interviewer.

    Hov seems uncomfortable this whole interview. Probably cuz he was fresh off the streets and wasn’t used to talking this much let alone doing interviews. The interviewer also seemed unprepared and tried coming up with questions on the spot.

      Great observation. I think you nailed it.
      You can tell he was still edgy, street, and not so chatty chatty.
      He's VERY direct

      Yeah, the interviewer was horribly unprepared. I think Jay-Z was irritated but desperately trying to be polite by giving him some details.

      @@Betoven81 in 1997 he signed a 6 album joint venture with Def jam which gave them 25 percent of rocafella 25 percent to poly gram and jay dame and Biggs split 50 percent

      @@061romell no reasonable doubt came out before the def jam deal it came out originally on freeze/priority but the rereleased it in 1998 under the def jam deal with like 2:3 songs added so no the original reasonable doubt wasn’t on def jam bri

      You gotta understand 26 in rap years is old to be just beginning. Biggie was reigning supreme while the whole time Jayz was older. His mindset at the time can’t really blame him surrounded by a bunch of young ass rappers. Times were more real back then
