in my experience, If you want pain and suffering with grief and trauma - visit the past. If you want anxiety and fear visit the perceived future. If you want peace and happiness - live in the present ! happiness is a state of perceived emotion. With present reality - to be content - be happy ! its an emotion that doesn't discriminate.
