My husband and I do weekly meal planning and it saves us SO much money. We plan one supper for each night, and the leftovers become lunch for the next day. We both use Keep (linked to our Google accounts) and we have shared lists for meals and groceries sorted by shop. Every Sunday morning we make a meal list for the week after checking the pantry, fridge, and freezer for items that we can use. Then we create a grocery list with tick boxes so that we can check the items off as we put them in the cart, and it ticks off on both our phones. If we finish something during the week (like soap, sugar, etc) we add it to the list and pick it up the next Sunday when we do groceries. I know I'd spend a ton of money if I just went into a shop and added whatever looks good. This year we definitely need to cut down on having breakfasts out! It has become a weekend habit but it's costing us.
Love your organisation! Groceries is one if my biggest weekly/monthly expenses (unless a bill is due) so it's certainly an easy way for me to save a little extra 👌
I agree with you, buying online helps me avoiding impulse purchasing. I do the same and leave stuff in my cart, and only buy them if I still want them days or even weeks later. But that's also why I couldn't give amazon prime up 😅 And I buy a lot of things we need from there: dog food, printer ink, random birthday party gifts when my children are invited etc... And yes to air drying clothes, I have a drying rack I keep inside when it's too rainy here in England

Can you wash your clothes in cold water? Will they get clean?
Yep! In fact, if you look on the tags of your clothes, many of them will say "cold wash" as the recommended way to wash them.
