At first, when I saw the first two or three episodes, I was an ArchieXBetty shipper. But then, I started to see this bonding going on between Betty and Jughead when they restarted the Blue & Gold and it was so sweet. So I literally cried my eyes out (happy tears, of course) when I saw their first kiss in episode 6. I kept on replaying it and I could really tell that Jughead just couldn't control his feelings anymore and they just tumbled out when he kissed her. It was such a heartfelt moment. My other favorite kiss was in episode 10 when Betty threw Jughead a surprise birthday party and there was this part where they had a fight and almost broke up. But then, at Pop's, they had a really emotional moment where they opened up to each other and kissed and that made my day. ❤️. #bugheadforever

Yes, but he also said that he's just an actor but it's the writers of the show that have the control over the character's development....and this season 1 was supposed to be a time where they find themselves and who knows maybe in season 2....Jughead decides that he wants to be asexual....we'll have to wait and see. I'm just glad Jughead is not a skirt chaser, and it's exactly like in the comics canon where the only girl he has a soft spot for is Betty...and he's said plenty of times that Betty is the only exception when it comes to romantic relationships.
