If you come back to the UK it may be worth you're while heading up to the potteries in Stoke on Trent. It's where the pottery factories are, most have shops that sell at a discount. Spode has a lovely charity shop attached to a little museum full of old Spode.
You probably should always take a couple of blankets just in case you get something that you don't want broke like the mirror or you could have turned it over to protect it a little more.
Was able to watch with my kids and g kids today. Truly a sign of Gods sovereignty. The work of the master's hand. Cant wait to see what heaven looks like. It was so amazing to see that and Venus was in plain view as well only we didnt know what it was till later on a news show. Just an awesome day.
Fantastic finds! I know some people say “we don’t have such good stuff at our stores” but I think it takes at least two things, dedication and knowledge! Knowing both the area (community) and the thrift store timing (when to get there and shelf placement, also (when they bring out new items) ITS AN ART! Blessed and safe days!
Lots of goodies to get creative with. I'm thinking the set of black urn-looking containers were for a topiary set. If not, they could certainly be used for that purpose. : )
WOW! That mirror was $15. Awesome. Here in CA it would be so much more. So sad you wouldn't ship it. Understandable though. Too much trouble and big chance of damages during shipping. Sure is beautiful though.
I have one of the coiled candles with no candle in it so i'm going to put a ball of twine on it with a pair of scissors and the twine coming out where the top of the candle did. I think it will sell.
at 1:55, the "point marks" are from the kiln stilt. the stilts are nails held in a bar or triangle of plaster. you pick the right size for the ceramic piece to balance on. it lifts the bottom of the piece off the kiln floor or shelf so that the molten glaze only sticks to the nail point and does not fuse to the kiln surface. after firing you pull the stilt off and the nail marks remain. they can be filed smooth with a wood rasp
I love the little cabinet with the lighthouse beach scenes. It would be great as a small medicine cabinet in a beach themed bathroom. I’d paint up the outside for a weathered beach cottage look and put an old looking lock on it to keep grandma’s meds safe. Love the big mirror and clocks too
Love your intro music! And Zeb's clocks are always interesting. I expected your hauls would be a bit smaller and more focused in 2024, but you are hauling in a lot!! Hope you're having fun. Leave some RD books for the rest of us. LOL I was given one for my 8th birthday by an old man who lived by us, because he knew I loved to read. I believe I still have it, 70 years later. It has a pink cover. :) Your little glass candle cups might be punch cups (minus their punch bowl) or the teacups from a 1950s/60s snack set. The cut glass-looking ones will make beautiful candles.
Oh my! I loved ALL your treasures you got today. So many favorites. I can't choose just one. The prices in your area are awesome. $1 here, $2 there, 75cents, WOW. Here in CA they're outrageous. Goodwill here is way too expensive and not a lot to choose from. 😢 So sad. Look forward to you Saturday night haul.
It was a fun day outside with friends and neighbors in NJ watching a partial eclipse. Love your finds today, especially the large mirror. Yesterday I had a neighbor move out who left behind two beautiful chairs that I'm going to flip for a profit. 100% profit is always great!
I can confirm that the first Afghan you picked up, blue with variegated yarn, could easily date back to the late 70s. I recognize the variegated yarn. My college roommates and I made an Afghan with it. I also worked at the dime store that sold that yarn and was in charge of ordering the yarns. It is a Red Heart yarn. Have no idea how many years it was in production. In today's market yarns can be around 4-6 years.
That is what I thought too, that those 2 big black pots with the little holes in was from a fountain. Zeb said a tree, he has trees on the brain I think😆
I'm at northwestern Pa. We were able to experience the ec!Jose in spite of some cloudiness. We viewed at home. Then we went to town and ran into massive traffic!. Crazy! People going home from viewing.
I only have those vintage gold frames. They have so many cool combos of those like double and triple framed sets. Chunky frames competes with the pictures I feel.
I remember driving through Utah when traveling across the US from NY and thought it was such a beautiful state. The mountains are breathtaking. Goodness, that was about 40 years ago. Seems like it was a different lifetime. I do enjoy driving along with you even if it's only to get to the thrift shops. Do you ever get tired of shopping??? It does end up being a lot of work, although the 'hunt' is always fun. And I'm always envious of some of the stuff you snatch up for cheap. Work keeps me too busy to shop regularly, plus I tend to spend too much when I already have too much. You got some really nice things, hope they bring you a nice profit. PS We were in line in upstate NY for the FULL eclipse, but it was so cloudy in my area that it was a complete bust. I was so upset that all we experienced was the blackout for a few minutes. It's ALWAYS dark and dreary until late spring, our dark cold days last forever.
I never get tired of shopping. But the processing sometimes is not my favorite. When I have to list it all I get myself a treat and put on a fun show. Then it’s not too bad.
That big divided tray would be AWESOME to house IOD moulds or Milk Paint!!!! Now I need to get into my wood shop! Jack’s Tacos….. 😂 my hubby LOVES them! Prides himself on teaching our son how to eat them in 1 bite 🙄🤦🏼♀️
We’re excited! Lehi is ready. Even with Saratoga just being built, our kids can get into do baptisms for months it’s going to be so nice to have one more temple.
Everything goes online even furniture there’s just some things that are so big that it would be cross prohibited for somebody to want to pay shipping like that mirror would probably cost four or $500 to ship because I’d have to use a courier service
Where is your Discovery? I think you had more room in it than the Volvo! You have really great thrift stores out there in Utah! Our local ones in my area are just junk and highly priced.
We had a Land Rover Defender but we traded it in for the Volvo. Its electric and also gas and we save about 3 tanks of gas a month. We still have Zebs one ton truck if we need big stuff hauled
I need to find the video where you did the mirror. I have an identical mirror to the one you found only it is a wood frame. I want to create the ‘look’.
😢please dont paint that black clock on a pedestal. I had one like it. It fell and broke and i miss it and havn't found one like that anywhere. Put a branch in those vases then hot glue leafs on the branch.
You eat all the Jack in the Box tacos you want. If you don't eat them every day it's not that bad. I love them and my family thinks they are disgusting. 😊
We only got a “corner” of the eclipse. But it mattered not because it was raining the entire time. @JamiRayVintage it’s not putting me under the “membership” section. Do you know why?
Oh shoot, Leslie! We got 50% in So Cal..I'm sorry that rain happened to you! It was pretty amazing to watch. You & I were invited to Ohio to Kai's to watch with her! I said we'd meet her in her front yard😂 Wonder how she did!
Had the fortune of watching the eclipse on a small lake in east Texas, it was amazing. Now back at home to watch Monday thrift with you two.😀😀😀
I watched it in Dallas. Amazing!!!
Watched it in Stephenville, Texas
I watch the eclipse in Ohio! Amazing view in my backyard!
I watched in Seguin, Texas.
Northern NY and it was sooo cool!
Love the huge mirror, Afghan is pretty
If you come back to the UK it may be worth you're while heading up to the potteries in Stoke on Trent. It's where the pottery factories are, most have shops that sell at a discount. Spode has a lovely charity shop attached to a little museum full of old Spode.
Great haul, i spy with my little eye a couple of treasures I need!!!
You probably should always take a couple of blankets just in case you get something that you don't want broke like the mirror or you could have turned it over to protect it a little more.
We usually have one, but we bought a new car and I just haven’t put one in there but I need to do that now
Was able to watch with my kids and g kids today. Truly a sign of Gods sovereignty. The work of the master's hand. Cant wait to see what heaven looks like. It was so amazing to see that and Venus was in plain view as well only we didnt know what it was till later on a news show. Just an awesome day.

I'll have to learn that ART. 😂Thanks for sharing.
Lots of goodies to get creative with. I'm thinking the set of black urn-looking containers were for a topiary set. If not, they could certainly be used for that purpose. : )
Great haul 👍 The big mirror is awesome! I love the mirror hanging on your wall ❤ You did an amazing paint job on it 👌
WOW! That mirror was $15. Awesome. Here in CA it would be so much more. So sad you wouldn't ship it. Understandable though. Too much trouble and big chance of damages during shipping. Sure is beautiful though.
The mirror you painted in your living room looks great. Can't wait to see the results of the mirror you just bought.
Try warming the tape with a hair dryer or heat gun so the tape and price tags will come off effortlesly. Love the haul!
Two of my favorite people ❤
I have one of the coiled candles with no candle in it so i'm going to put a ball of twine on it with a pair of scissors and the twine coming out where the top of the candle did. I think it will sell.
That real old clock is amazeballs!😍
at 1:55, the "point marks" are from the kiln stilt. the stilts are nails held in a bar or triangle of plaster. you pick the right size for the ceramic piece to balance on. it lifts the bottom of the piece off the kiln floor or shelf so that the molten glaze only sticks to the nail point and does not fuse to the kiln surface. after firing you pull the stilt off and the nail marks remain. they can be filed smooth with a wood rasp
Thanks for explaining! Is this method from a specific time or do they still use this method now? 🤔
@@ilkefranssen660 would assume same technique now because the workings of kilns has not changed.
It’s so funny- I dont sell but when im at Goodwill shopping im like - oh Jami & Zeb would love this! 😆😆😆 💗
Me, too! I was at the bins yesterday and saw several things they would have picked up.
That mirror is stunning ❤ that view is always so beautiful. I can’t imagine looking at that everyday.
I found one of those planters and it holds a small Christmas tree perfectly.
Wow! Lots of really good pics today! And Jamie yes, sometimes you just gotta have a Jack-in-the-Box taco.
Totality in Tupper Lake. It was amazing!
I bring a moving blanket to the thrift store and put it in the cart for breakable items
Yes girl!!! Jack in the box tacos are the best!!! I'm in Nebraska now, but born and raised in California. Jack is the best!
I love the little cabinet with the lighthouse beach scenes. It would be great as a small medicine cabinet in a beach themed bathroom. I’d paint up the outside for a weathered beach cottage look and put an old looking lock on it to keep grandma’s meds safe. Love the big mirror and clocks too
Great haul once again.Looking forward to Wednesday painting.
Love the epic mirror! 💗💗💗
Love your intro music! And Zeb's clocks are always interesting.

Love the music you played on this video. Where do you find your music?
That seagull shadow box cabinet is ADORABLE ❤
I totally agree with you Jamie. Jack in the Box tacos are a great childhood memory!
It was a fun day outside with friends and neighbors in NJ watching a partial eclipse. Love your finds today, especially the large mirror. Yesterday I had a neighbor move out who left behind two beautiful chairs that I'm going to flip for a profit. 100% profit is always great!
Really fun thrift haul treasures
Jami and Zeb the crocheted blanket is called "a mile a minute" afghan.
I’m on the east coast and absolutely nothing is a dollar in any goodwill. Our prices are out of control here. Hard to make a profit
Same here on the West Coast in CA. Prices are out of control.
The sun was really intense in Atlanta as well. Seemed out of the ordinary bright

Love that afghan! I need to try to make this one or find one at my store. Thanks, Donna xoxo
Tacos from jack in the box are the best!!..tons of hot sauce!much love from Missouri
"Taco Bell.... it's the rules, I don't make them. The breakfast of champions."🤣
Jami you're so funny.
You’re a poet and don’t know it. Make it rhyme every-time! 😂😂😂
Yessssssss!! Great finds👍🙋🏽♀
Good finds, holy clocks,I’m a clock buyer also ,they call my name lol
Aren't those small glass cups from a punch bowl set? I think they are. :-)
Great haul today; you picked some nice items today.
I love Jack in the box tacos!
Jami, I just checked eBay and 8 of those Dansk spice jars sold for 38+ shipping and 39 + shipping.
I love those Jack in the box tacos! 🌮
I’m in Ohio and had a great view of the eclipse today!
We drove to Findlay Ohio from West Michigan and had an amazing experience.
Your mirror would make a most wonderful hall tree. Some big hooks and a bench in front...
I love Jack in the box!!!
I LOVE Jack in the Box tacos. I always have to buy 2 orders cause I feel bad only getting 1 since they are so cheap. Guilty pleasures.
The little glass cups are from punch bowl sets, back in the day when we served punch at every social event.
I love Jack in the box tacos as well 🌮
In the South, the pineapple is a symbol of hospitality, so if you get a lot of buyers from down here (I’m in Texas), we’ll appreciate pineapples.😊
I love Jack in box tacos! Cheap greasy and good
Goodness I wish we had Desert Industries here in the East! So jealous!

Oh my. One bite. That is an accomplishment lol.
Congratulations on getting your own temple!
We’re excited! Lehi is ready. Even with Saratoga just being built, our kids can get into do baptisms for months it’s going to be so nice to have one more temple.
I love Jack-in-the-Box tacos, but I always tell him to hold the sauce❤
lol and I ask for extra sauce it’s my favorite
Besides large items, how do you decide what goes in your store and what you sell online? Love your Channel!!!
Everything goes online even furniture there’s just some things that are so big that it would be cross prohibited for somebody to want to pay shipping like that mirror would probably cost four or $500 to ship because I’d have to use a courier service

Jack Taco's.....the best! None even close to me anymore, Chicago area.
Love Jack tacos!
I remember plenty of late nights eating JITB tacos. Yum.
I need to find the video where you did the mirror. I have an identical mirror to the one you found only it is a wood frame. I want to create the ‘look’.
Does that clock say Bristol Connecticut? If it does I live about 20 minutes from there. There is a clock museum in that town.
Those little glass cups are from punch bowl sets.
The urns were for Christmas trees not fountains. I had one.
I’m new to your channel - great finds - do you sell on line? Or during your live show? Or sounds like you have a brick and mortar store?
Those little cups come with punch bowls.
Ok, I’m failing to see the difference between the regular thifting and the “super picky” thrifting😂
Mostly, I buy less stuff that has to be painted
71 in Michigan
p.s. You guys are so talented.
Mile a minute is the pattern name for blue afghan
Another great haul. I wish those Dansk spice jars were here at that price!
😢please dont paint that black clock on a pedestal. I had one like it. It fell and broke and i miss it and havn't found one like that anywhere. Put a branch in those vases then hot glue leafs on the branch.
❤❤❤❤
You eat all the Jack in the Box tacos you want. If you don't eat them every day it's not that bad. I love them and my family thinks they are disgusting. 😊
It’s usually a once a week treat now that its in our thrifting travels. ❤️. They are a cheap guilty pleasure.
Pineapple is just as bad as grapes when it comes to decor! Ish!!
😊👍👋
🌞🌞🌞
10000x 👍🕊🐑
Those small cups are punch bowl cups. People used to mix and match for parties.
Is it me or are you guys fuzzy?
Those mountains!! ❤🏔 thanks for showing those beautiful views! PS You're living my dream life thrift flipping😀
I still see your bird, so I’m not sure why you wouldn’t be under the membership
❤❤❤
