I cried so much because i know this feeling. Its called derealisation. It really is like that. Its freezing cold and you let your jacket open because you cant feel it. You sit on your bed countless hours and it doesnt feel like time is passing. Its like your life is a dream and everyone is far away and when it was really bad, i couldnt control what i was doing. I sat there, during arguments and knew that they were fighting, but i couldnt hear or understand what they were saying. If i had to, my brain talked for me, like i was there, in the back of my head and i know it was just me there, but i couldnt do anything. My voice didnt Sound like my voice, but i interacted in dialogues non the less and nobody noticed. I broke off with my then boyfriend and i didnt feel a thing. I wrote very dramatic in my diary, but nothing seemed familiar. Now its better, didnt come back for five years and i'm in a loving relationships and friends i trust. Still sometimes it creeps me out, when i sat alone at Partys pre corona, i didnt feel like belonging even though i was with friends. All i have to do now is say "wow i have the strong feeling that everything is a dream now", breathe in and out, consulting in my friends and partner and then we laugh again. But a derealisation is a consequential damage. It doesnt disappear. I'm just glad that i know what i lived in my teenage years wasnt imaginary. I hope Nora will get there too. the minute by minute thing is one of my favorite things in the skam franchise and when david and matteo didn´t have that moment i was a little sad. but now we finally got it and im so filled with joy it just melts my heart every time.
