I've been meaning to get a better set up, thanks for the inspiration especially with the dash pads. Honestly wasn't sure how to use them to my advantage.
I'm glad you liked it! If you can stand the grind, you can place a lot of Dash pads all over the map to get through the areas quicker. It's something i'm planning to do in the future. Just adding 2-3 in each area can make your life a lot easier :)
I like to have a corral off in the corner for dirvish boom largos, since those two both have abilities that can launch plorts out of the corral, and putting them in their own area minimizes that risk. I have quantum tangles in another area for a similar reason
Depends on the amount of slimes in the corral. Typically I tend to go for 14-15 slimes with the fastest speed, at least if you have the Ogden Ortiz upgrades for the farms
it depends on how much food you can grow/breed at any point of time. With Ogden's upgrades for the gardens unlocked, I tend to have one fully upgraded veggie/fruit garden per corral. About 12-14 slimes in each corral with the dispenser at max and drones doing the work for me.

I noticed that too after trying to do that setup in my world shit went sideways, and all 4 pins ended up causing havoc, and they all got out and turned into tar slimes lol.

Yes, only the oned for the fire and puddle slimes are different
