    Where was this impatience with the economy before Melei?

  • @marianomedina07
    @marianomedina07 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

    Just to clarify:
    The root of the problem is deficit spending. Governors use to have an astronomical déficit and the federal government save them by giving them "discrecionary transfers" wich are exactly as they are named.
    With Milei, the era of rescuing cronycal deficitaries provinces are ended and now those provinces instead of slaying gov spending they issue currency.
    la rioja has more than 40% of their workforce in the public sector. Of course they have problems! but is not Milei and certainly not a recent one.

    They pay the employees in Chacho but the employees are exchanging it for USD. What is the point of creating a fake currency? This means you have to be ready whenn all these people go try to redeem these chacho for USD.
    So you still need USD and solved nothing.
    They might as well havr handed everyone USD which would have been automatically accepted everywhere. This is a logistical and expensive nightmare.

    Quintela thought he was smarter than Milei, so he creates this quasi-coin believing he would defeat Milei.
    Plot Twist: The whole province went bankrupt

  • @GhostOnTheHalfShell

    The only thing that province needs to do to cement that currency? Is to impose a demurrage tax and to allow people to discharge their local taxes with the money. Notably, the city of Wörgl in Germany instituted a stamp script, which is a version of such a money system. It has the advantage of being deflation proof, and also revives a city’s economy in the midst of a great depression. Governments have the monopoly furnishing economies with means of exchange. Yeah, that provision proceeds, commerce and any taxation.

    Why so many countries (Indonesia, Iran, Vietnam, African countries) use such high denominations for their daily use. Why can’t they bring value to their local currencies by slowly eliminating the last digits (0) in currency denominations and economy as a whole. Why they fancy of having such huge numbers, and completely ignoring the small numbers (1 to 3 digits). If they were to bring the currency digits to maximum 3 or 4, in that case what will be the financial implications of those countries? Please, can any one help?

    Just accept using a mix of the euro, dollar , ruble, bullets and eggs for trade. Skip the local currency completely.

    Argentina needs to pay reparations to native indigenous Indians for stolen land and resources,genocide before worrying about inflation.

    • @JuanIgnacioLotero
      @JuanIgnacioLotero หลายเดือนก่อน

      Argentina nor any Latin American country should give reparations to any indigenous people. The Spanish Empire not only fought a war against several native peoples but also formed alliances and assimilated both allies and the defeated in a mixture of hundreds of years where they were included within the Empire and were given rights and infrastructure. Argentina, as heir to the viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata, is the owner of all its territories and in these there was never racism as if there was in Europe or the United States, but rather the causes behind the displacement and war against the Malones or Mapuches (who are not even native of the country) was due to the fact that they were violent people who attacked towns. Why do you think that only they were expelled and the rest were assimilated? If you go to the North you will see how the majority of the population is mestizo and even in several regions native languages are spoken, there are even "white" people who speak indigenous languages and have indigenous customs, but for a gringo it is a difficult topic to understand, for something is like snowflakes that everything offends them and everything seems racist to them, they feel guilty because you did horrible things and they believe they have the authority to judge the rest and they remain just crybabies

    • @JuanIgnacioLotero
      @JuanIgnacioLotero หลายเดือนก่อน

      Neither Argentina nor any Latin American country should even consider giving reparations to indigenous peoples. During the Spanish Empire, there wasn’t just war with various native groups-alliances were also formed, and both allies and the defeated were assimilated into a society that lasted for centuries. These communities were integrated into the Empire, granted rights, and given access to infrastructure.
      Argentina, as the heir to the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata, rightfully owns all of its territories. In these lands, there was never the kind of systemic racism seen in Europe or the United States. The displacement and conflicts with the Malones or Mapuches (who aren’t even originally from Argentina) happened because they were violent, attacking towns and settlements.
      Why do you think only they were expelled, while others were assimilated? If you travel to the north of the country, you’ll see that the majority of the population is mestizo, and in many regions, indigenous languages are still spoken. There are even people with European features who speak indigenous languages and follow indigenous customs. But for some foreigners, it’s a difficult concept to grasp. They love to get offended at everything
