Ahhh na then why Shamshera, Brahmastra tanked, I would say it's because of SRV the hype for Animal was magnanimous ! Nowadays it depends too much on directors too, same with Jawan, the hype was there because of directors track record, more over southern director's are technically brilliant & superior which Bollywood lacks today !

You missed great oppertunity. Because Animal does not have the same impact om OTT as it have in theatre. It loses its almost 70 percent impact on OTT. But in theatre it was fire.
It’s just off shouldering of responsibility that the construct of society plays to cover up its inadequacies. If cinema was responsible for great change alone, this world should have been far more of a better place.
The basic premise of the movie was a perspective of a son who can cross any limits to prove his love to his father and try to get attention that he never got from him , the protagonist was a self-righteous, morally ambiguous person and that's the reason the movie is titled 'ANIMAL' the filmmakers were also not justifying his actions or choices, the protagonist had an instinct like an ANIMAL, an ANIMAL will protect its love ones irrespective of morals or other peoples opinions , it's not about good or bad but it's just the way it is and that's what SRV was trying to convey, basically it was a story of a 'FLAWED' yet protective person , his motives are good but his actions are questionable and that's what Flimaker advertised it for It is not a glorification but just a point of view (no one should try to admire it as it was completely hypothetical ) But The problem with most of the audience is that they end up relating or comparing their own morals way too much to the protagonist and because of that they end up Criticizing Or even hating him Imo it might not be a perfect movie but it is definitely a cult classic and i really enjoyed it and eagerly waiting for animal park

Its good for Bollywood Sandeep has set the bar very high. There will be few cheap copycat i mean copying is also an art. Existing directors will go to back to drawing board and new aspiring ones will have fresh take on the future movies.
I don't directors copying a certain story, or using it in an inspiring way. Godfather has been made many times by directors all around the World, even Animal has shades of Godfather. What matters is what one does with that content --- do they make it interesting and engaging to watch or just another random flick. Sandeep used Godfather in the setup and delivered a mind-blowing film --- in a way that I forgot the connection when I was watching it, and only realized it after reflection.
Animal Cant be copied. Because its not a formula film. It have zero item dances zero dialoguebaazi zero illogical one guy punching 10 guys flying. Its beauty is in its screenplay and performances which is engaging. Have to give it to Vanga.

@FilmyInfluencer if directors learn that then it would be amazing, but due to star power they are forced to make what the fans want, Vanga makes films according to his style and that's why Animal was a great success
I always jump into write my comment whenever I see animal movie references. The movie is a gem . What it did to me while watching on theatres is speechless. It was a beautiful craft and I hate it when people who didn’t watch it or understand it crying about the misogyny in the movie. The movie is beyond that. just pure cinematic experience. The music, the screen play, the fight , the cinematography, the character arc and “Ranbir Kapoor” 🤌
"What it did to me while watching on theatres is speechless" - same here, I couldn't get over the experience, had to rewatch it again 2 days later in the theatre.
I personally watch films for entertainment so do most people which is good and Animal is also a very entertaining film with so much to show that I really loved the film but was it inspiring or admireing No it's just for entertainment and people should watch films for entertainment, it is only sometimes that a movie is made for inspiring or admireing but as a audience it's our responsibility to watch what we should see in a film that is inspiring or not. At last just wanted to say wheather you like or dislike Animal had something that's why it succeed.
Yes, why not --- He is a good director, he has made some amazing movies, and even today, audience will go to theaters knowing its a Rajkumar Hirani film.
I don't see that text anywhere, are you referring to the automatic captions? that I don't have control on... I have uploaded English subtitles which have the corrected text and everything. Thanks for the comment.
Influenced in a good way is fine, just like getting influenced by good morals, a good story book, a good life lession... 18+ should be able to make that distinction about what's good for me and what's not. A movie can't teach you --- it's there to entertain, and especially with Animal, teach you so much about filmmaking.
@@_Bhavy_ yeah I saw that interview with Deadline, in fact SRV told about this last year to Baradwaj Rangan, but I am still wondering what would be there in 3 parts...
I mean we got cringe dialoguebaazi, one guy hitting 5 flying, item dances in the name of masala mainstream films. Animal stays rooted in logic at its core. Its a path breaking film for mainstream cinema. There is zero fanservice. And there is 100 percent conviction.
Jawaan, pathaan, animal are not cinema but just mindless action films without any uniqueness. Cinema is an art where its artist conveys narrative through visuals and tell a message. Cinema is all about visual and these 3 films aren't that. Cinema is meant to be experimented with, use unique ways to tell a story and it's points.
Jawan Pathan were cringe. It had no soul. They were trial room formula films. The reason people dont even talk about it is an example of that. They only worked because of SRKs star power and his comeback after 5 years. Meanwhile Animal has alot oto offer. And really consistent plot woth almost atleast 25 high points in the film made catered to bring the animal out of the audience.
Apart from some questionable scenes where they add romantic songs and music in which Ranvijay literally abusing & cheating women, I didn't found any problem in the movie. That's the same thing I didn't like in Kabir singh where Shaheed Kapoor tries to have s€× with a woman by showing knife & there's om shanti om song playing in background. Vanga should avoid such use of music in these type of scenes. Otherwise In terms of acting, background score, cinematography, action choreography, screenplay, movie was a masterpiece.
I like your criticism... It is specific, it is honest and you weight in what you liked and didn't like ... I appreciate that. I too didn't like the infidelity aspect, I felt it went against the character but again, when the body double came in, I accepted that the only way for Aziz to become Vijay would be to know everything about Vijay, what marks he has on his body etc. then the infidelity part was okay for me as it opens up the body double story. Thanks

@@nortanleisure1399 please don't go into South v/s North debate, I don't promote that kind of discussion in any which way (if you want proof, check the videos on my channel). There are many Bollywood directors who are still making amazing films - Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one example, Vidhu Vinod Chopra is another... so lets not go into who is brilliant or not, there are examples across Indian Cinema.
Wrt Ranbir's other movies not working, it can happen to the best of actors. SRV is unique in a way that he gets the best out of anyone (look at Bobby Deol for e.g.), and Jawan worked for SRK as well, any other actor, no matter how good the director is wouldn't have been able to carry that movie forward, there is no doubt in that understanding.
@@nortanleisure1399Yes .and these bolly gang thinking animal got hit because of Ranbir 😂. Then why all his previous movies flop can't draw audience to theatre . Nude scenes , Bobby Deol , vanga craze worked here . Rather would say if he will work with new comer director with 1,2 movies let see how much star power he has😂

There's nothing as "pan world" buddy, grow up
I think he meant it for the World star Prabhas... But yeah there should be a word like that someone like Prabhas
@@FilmyInfluenceri think he is saying pan world because the villain is a korean actor, forgot his name. Thats why pan world, otherwise no one knows Prabhas outside indis 🤣🤣. The only actor known outside india is SRK
@@Lazymath007_ In one line you have diminished the importance of actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Raj Kapoor -- both of whom are very well known internationally.
And on the point of Prabhas - I live in the US, recently spent a month in Europe and I met so many people there who know Prabhas, they can literally recognize him from the posters. In the US, Prabhas has a huge fan following.
So saying that the only actor known outside India is SRK, shows how little you know about Indian actors.
@@FilmyInfluencer there might be a few people knowing prabhas but when i have heard foreigners talk about bollywood they mostly talk about SRK. I dont know why you taking this personally. In fact even people who dont watch Bollywood have probably heard of SRK somewhere. SRK is the most popular thats what i am saying
What About Allu Arjun x Sandip ? The collaboration 😅😅
When it happens or is at least announced, I will make a video on that topic
He should skip spirit and go straight to make animal park. That looks more interesting to audience. We want to see Ranbir more than Prabhas 😅
Nah... Prabhas Garu is a Beast when it comes to Star Power and Screen Presence, even Ranbir acknowledges that...
Spirit will be amazing, and its good for a director to take a break from the subject and make something else.
Christopher Nolan made 3 Batman movies, but between each two movies, he made movies like Prestige and Inception, and I think that worked better.

At the end
Ranvijay loses his dad, his wife, son leaves him, half of his bones are broken, a deadly butcher is behind him

A sincere director dedicated to his art is much much better than filmmakers who try random things in their films to cater to audiences specifically or dont take filmmaking art seriously like Om raut or Rohit shetty
Filmmaking art is what stands out in the end, it what contributes to repeat value.
The rest is one time watch 🙂

I must admit, I saw the movie on Netflix, and regret that I did not see it in the theaters - thanks to all the negative fake reviews. Thankfully your channel has helped me change that perspective. Please make more videos like this, Pushpa 2 is coming - waiting for your review.
Thanks for the kind words, it's good to know people are changing their minds about the film. I'll definitely try and review Pushpa 2!

True! If movies alone could fix the world, we’d all be living in a blockbuster paradise by now

Animal will be considered a cult classic in a few years. The feminists can seethe all they want.
Won't comment on the feminists but Animal is a classic today, cult classic tomorrow and soon a subject in Film Schools
The basic premise of the movie was a perspective of a son who can cross any limits to prove his love to his father and try to get attention that he never got from him , the protagonist was a self-righteous, morally ambiguous person and that's the reason the movie is titled 'ANIMAL' the filmmakers were also not justifying his actions or choices, the protagonist had an instinct like an ANIMAL, an ANIMAL will protect its love ones irrespective of morals or other peoples opinions , it's not about good or bad but it's just the way it is and that's what SRV was trying to convey, basically it was a story of a 'FLAWED' yet protective person , his motives are good but his actions are questionable and that's what Flimaker advertised it for
It is not a glorification but just a point of view (no one should try to admire it as it was completely hypothetical )
But The problem with most of the audience is that they end up relating or comparing their own morals way too much to the protagonist and because of that they end up Criticizing Or even hating him
Imo it might not be a perfect movie but it is definitely a cult classic and i really enjoyed it and eagerly waiting for animal park
But i mean people need to grow up. So what if Ranvijay is immoral? I mean its not like Ranvijay screen ke bahar aayega tujhe attack karne 🤣🤣 . I think people in india really need to grow up!

I. e. Martin Scorsese, Quentin tarantino, David Fischer or even ram gopal verma and anurag kashyap were also victims of criticism of their work from both audience and critics yet their filmography is still counted as cult cinema

Thanks a lot, glad you liked it... Stay tuned for more videos like these....
Please make about how to write screenplay and how to write engaging sences
Actually I have made a bunch of videos on that subject,

If you are 18+ and still getting influenced by movies then the problem is in you .
Influenced in a good way is fine, just like getting influenced by good morals, a good story book, a good life lession... 18+ should be able to make that distinction about what's good for me and what's not.
A movie can't teach you --- it's there to entertain, and especially with Animal, teach you so much about filmmaking.

Couldn't have agreed more 🙏👍
Because men want to explore their masculine side.
Is that how you see the film? If yes then it's okay, respect your opinion 👍
2023 was peak year for movies
Pathaan
Jawaan
Animal
these were absolute cinema..
Absolutely true... I would add 12th Fail to that list as well, I absolutely loved that movie.
Cinema 😂
Jawaan, pathaan, animal are not cinema but just mindless action films without any uniqueness. Cinema is an art where its artist conveys narrative through visuals and tell a message. Cinema is all about visual and these 3 films aren't that. Cinema is meant to be experimented with, use unique ways to tell a story and it's points.
Instead of pathaan put 12th fail in the list
Jawan Pathan were cringe. It had no soul. They were trial room formula films. The reason people dont even talk about it is an example of that. They only worked because of SRKs star power and his comeback after 5 years. Meanwhile Animal has alot oto offer. And really consistent plot woth almost atleast 25 high points in the film made catered to bring the animal out of the audience.
Bro's only content is only Animal 🤡
You should check out my other videos, it's not just Animal but I can't help if audience wants only that
Apart from some questionable scenes where they add romantic songs and music in which Ranvijay literally abusing & cheating women, I didn't found any problem in the movie.
Thanks
Anuraag kashyap... seriously 😂😂 only in otp .... among he's theatre released movies not a single movie crossed 100cr
Firstly, its OTT not OTP, the latter is used as an access token.
Secondly, Box Office is not the only thing that matters. Anurag Kashyap is a brilliant filmmaker, who has shaped Indian Cinema with his storytelling and been an inspiration for so many new directors. Check out this video of mine for more details - th-cam.com/video/uIUDzN1KIug/w-d-xo.html
Mr SRV , Don't make Prabhas do intense Lip locks and Bed scenes , he is not really looking really comfortable doing those scenes in radhe Shyam and Bahubali 2
