Theory as to why Expunged looks distorted:
You can't successfully translate 3d to 2d.
That's the reason Greenland looks so big on a map. Well, if you're using the Mercator projection. There are multiple kinds, but they're all distorted depending on the aspect and location the creator wanted you to mainly focus on or needed to be the most accurate.
I feel the general rule you-can't-translate-3d-to-2d-perfectly is what's going on. That, and the fact Expunged is weird in general. But that's just my theory, and it's definitely a style choice, so chalk this up to some dude overthinking a fnf shitpost.
