I personally think the host Rider does make sense. Yes symbioz are sensitive to fire but so are humans. No one questions why the Fire doesn't burn any of the other Ghost Riders so why should Venom be different
Gotta love PC culture, having to either grab a thesaurus or make up a new word so the triggered nation doesn't spend half a day arguing with you like a child about how everyone else needs to change to fit their narcissistic thoughts and values while not caring about how what they want effects any other. Catering to these kinds of "people" created an avalanche of of those who think they can walk through life doing whatever they feel while restricting how others can act, to all the way down to the common words we used to have the freedom to use daily.
