That's some beautiful chicken of the woods, in great condition! They're easy to cook and tasty. I use them in my stir fry in place of chicken, and since they freeze well, I eat them year round. (I love when foraging creeps into my thrift-focused viewing!)

You inspire me so much. My house isn't victorian, just very old. I'm doing my best to give it that victorian feeling/decor. And most everything I get is antique, thrift bought. Everyone that comes into my home just loves how I decorate and can't believe how inexpensive I've remodeled.

We just finished shoveling our driveway two days in a row and sat down to watch Selina! This obviously was filmed in the fall and it was so nice to see green again! 😊. I laughed out loud at Selina and Pete’s reaction to the spider...that would be both my and my Hubs reaction too! 🤣 🕷🎄🇨🇦

I only know morel and puffball mushrooms. The kind you found are new to me. Some can be very dangerous to eat. Pete seems more comfortable in front of the camera now.
I’ve been a subscriber for years but have never commented. I love your channel and particularly enjoyed Pete going mushroom hunting🍄. I found that so fascinating! Hopefully he does more of that! It reminded me of the current cooking show, “Field, Forest, Feast” by Chef Alan Bergo.

I love to go mushroom foraging. I used to live in Estacada, OR & would forage often. I have some amazing mushrooms. I think some of them are nature’s art they are so beautiful.
