- In this episode of BlacktipH, I go fishing with Capt. Blake from Hang'Em High Sport Fishing and we found an absolutely insane topwater amberjack bite fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. I've never in my life seen amberjacks this fired up before, it was totally insane! We caught over 50 amberjacks (averaging 25-50lbs) before heading home.

they have small scales and some harder ridges like a tuna crossed with a jack. they are pretty easy to clean though and taste awesome. sorry its not the man himself replying

Last month I went fishing on a wreck in Florida and I caught a 200lb amberjack I hooked on a blue runner with my avet 50w and it took screaming runs and for a minute I taught I hade hooked a shark love your videos

Caught a massive AJ in the gulf a couple weeks ago. What a fight. I caught a rather large cobia a few hours later and it was a hell of a fight but nothing compared to the amberjack.

This is the sickest video I have seen you post! That type of fishing is just like skipping a Roberts Ranger across the surface for 10+ pound bluefish. Intense explosions as they keep chasing it before hooking up and then your arms tiring out. And bluefish are so aggressive, they will even hit that fried chicken or a weighted tin can.
