It’s the end of the year and I want to start 2024 with a clutter-free home. The end or the beginning of the year is when most people want to organize their homes for a fresh start. And i feel like living in an apartment, closets are kind of an after thought because you just gotta work with what’s already there. Don’t forget you can use a tiny nail to hold 1/16” plywood to any wall any size, any where , and a couple camand strips and put whatever you want on it. Tile, real wall paper, paint bead board pole wrap. You can even do 1/4 of the wall and trim it with a 1x2 ledge or a 5 foot wide portion of the wall behind the tv and run the chords behind it and take it with you when you move.

Love it! I recommend putting the large command hooks a bit farther away from the edge (wood slab?) so that you can slide off the hook to peel off the adhesive strip beneath when taking it off or moving it. I’ve learned the hard way. Happy holidays!

TOTALLY 2nd those rechargeable LED bars!! I have them in my pantry, below the sink and in my craft closet. I tried them as under cabinet lighting on the uppers in my kitchen and that was too much, but closets don't trigger them as often. They are the BEST! ❤🎉

Love the wallpaper. You keep inspiring me to do something special inside a closet with paint or wallpaper. I haven't done it yet, but it's coming. Love the wooden hangers and your storage solutions. So smart. I have one suggestion, if I may. I secretly love the peaceful feeling of hanging my coat up in a coat closet that feels like, "Ah, I'm home." For me, that means no cleaning tools or products in the coat closet. I prefer them in a linen closet, hidden in a bedroom closet (positioned so I don't have to see them too much when looking in that closet either) or even in a cabinet in an attached garage if in temperate climate. Just a thought. Nonetheless, your closet is so organized and pleasant now!

I love that Over-The-Door -Organizer; I bought a similar one, with 6 pockets. But instead of hanging it from my bathroom door, I bolted it to my wall, saving my door for an over door towel rack. I'm able to store so very much in my TINY wather closet now 🎉
I was thinking of doing something like the risers you made in a cabinet I have. After seeing how easy and nicely it fits, I think I will be doing just that!

Looks amazing! A word of caution: I had the same over the door storage hanging thing and the hooks scratched up my door. So maybe add some protection?
When using the Command hooks, it’s better to not put any weight on them until, the glue has has time to adhere. I think the package has a time chart on it.

I literally cannot stop looking at the color of your doors! It's gorgeous! Do you happen to know what color that is?
Corners are never straight lol. When hanging wallpaper, you want to do the middle piece first using a Lazer or spirit level, then work outwards and do the crease and cut in the corner.
You could use sticky tacky on the bottom of the door organizer so it doesn’t move when you open the door

I’m so confused about the space planning in this video. A tiny apartment with little storage has space for scrap wood? Seems a bit odd.
Also, if your apartment has a spare bedroom why does your closet have to serve four functions.

I used a Command Hook that's made to hold things like step stools, so it's holding up great! 👌🏻
