This was Napom’s final chance, I don’t think he’ll ever be World Champion now. The ‘wow factor’ of his bass and lip rolls has been undermined by the constant rehashing of the same beats... Napom’s popularity is the reason why he lost this year

I’ve realized that Alexhino simply won because both of his rounds were incredibly high energy, while Napom’s first round lacked energy and also volume, and although his second round brought back the energy, Alexhino won in the first round

That's like saying one judge gives 0.8 vote for alexinho and 0.2 vote for NaPoM. You can't do that. The judge gives the vote to who they think won. It's not like they'll just decide to give a sympathy vote to NaPoM just because Alexinho got majority.

I prefer the mastering of the audio from the 2015 championships. You can barely hear the crowd and theres no reverb at all on the beatbox. You want to hear it as if you were there. Awesome event though. Much love.

Napom has spent to much time I think with Kenny Urban. Now I know that sounds negative as hell but hear me out before you judge. Kenny is a world class beatboxer, I mean amazing. But he has said many times he freestyles a lot instead of doing a rehearsed routine. Which I think shows a lot of times. And Napom used to have extremely well made routines. You could tell his structure was on point. And now he's kinda all over the place like he's making it up as he goes along. I mean look at Napom's first World BeatBox Battle. No one had an impact like he did. Even though he got second he literally shattered the stage. And all his stuff flowed and was performed with perfection. Napom should have beaten Alexinho. But he just didn't have the level of structure. Plus he tried to mimic. He should have stuck with all his own material. He didn't even get a vote this Battle. Which is way below his standards seeing how magnificent he is. I adore both Napom and Kenny and Kapom is incredible, but Napom needs to get that old Napom back.
A lot of stars come and shine, and after 1 year or less everyone gets bored of tham. Only few are there on top all of the time

He lost because he choked once and he ended up doing the buildup for roll like this without the drop, and the crowd was jumping during his rounds. But BBWC had really terrible audio that year + they reduced the crowd volume
Also I'm pretty sure he wasn't freestyling here, he was using parts of his routines.
Also, check his GBB2021 stuff out. This was 2 months ago but I just wanted to say he shattered the stage once again!

Like Peterpot said to Scott Jackson "Your beats are all over the place" I love Napom. Been a fan since I seen him battle Urban all those years ago when he was practically a kid. So I've seen him change over the years. Which is good but his flow isn't as smooth as it was. He is trying to do to much I think in this battle.

I think Reeps One summarized the result of this battle and the phone moment really well. You just gotta be careful if you plan to do something ‘theatrical’, especially with someone like Alexinho. I don’t know if the phone moment was intentional, but the fact that Napom took the phone, he just got baited.
Both displayed immense skills, structure, and musicality. Alexinho stood out with that singular, greatest moment. The judges’ decision was not surprising.

If the whole beatbox community didn't catch on with the liprolls, and make it a vital sound in there sound set for nowdays styles. Let's be honest if this was when liprolls were still new Napom would have destroyed alexhino, but the beatbox communities overuse of liprolls dampened napom style, which is a good and a bad thing depending on how you look at it tbh.

NaPoM is my favorite beatboxer. But alexinho was better there. NaPoM must use any another sound except liprolls. Yes his liproll is crazy but it's too lot.
If Napom went into his traditional roll like this inside the "click" version he might have had a shot. The zipper combo and the cough snare ones were fucking dope, but if the original hit, people would have lost their shit. Alex won with an old amazing routine and a lucky phone call and call out.
Technically speaking, I'd say that Alexinho's secound round was by far, out of the rest of the rounds, (even Napom's second round) the best in terms of musical structure, crowd response, clarity in sound, an amazing stage prescence and all of this...all of this combined. Alexhino's secound round was less of a 'battle', but for me, more of a showcase. That second round was the defining moment where he should have been the winning competitor, in my opinion. Incredibe battle though!

This was the real final: whoever won this battle would’ve gone on to be the world champion. Alexhino brought high energy routines both rounds, while Napom was lacking in the first but brought it back in the second. In the end, Alexhino definitely won the battle, but I don’t necessarily think he’s still better than Napom for that. I still think Napom is world champion material

Here's the analysis why Napom lost, he make mistakes in the second round where he start a buildup in the last 10 seconds. Add up with Alex roasting him made him lose composure, making his beats rushed and unclean.

Even as a NaPoM fanboy I think Alex won this. Here's my reasoning:
First round went to Alex... NaPoM took it too easy and the composition made the flow a bit off. Base Electro is actually really technical but the power is weak. I think it has to be used like how he used it in that fantasy battle against Wunknown.
Second round I think Alex's round composition was great. It looked like the phone call threw NaPoM off and his technique and composition got messed up. You can see NaPoM's round ended abruptly and the cleanness of his techniques waned.
Both rounds I think went to Alex. NaPoM might have been worried about meeting Alem in the next round or something with nerves I'm not sure but it didn't seem like his usual battle form. Good news is now NaPoM has 3 years to refine his techniques and rounds, and without needing to show his cards at GBBB and stuff it'll be sick to see what he brings out at next BBWC.

Everyone being salty that NaPoM didn’t win just need to shut up! Accept the fact that in this battle Alexinho was better in both rounds. His beats came out better and he had more variety overall, so yeah alex won fair. Sure NaPoM did great too its just that Alexinho was a little better. And 5-0 looks very clear and way to much I agree with that, but if every judge voted for Alexinho that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a close battle. It was very close, just every judge had the same opinion.
