Your heart would love my large Arizona playlist, over a thousand Arizona videos of scenic beauty. It's an organized video tour of much of the state, showing first our rainy season, followed by the sunsets, the wildlife and the many diverse locales of Arizona, the terrain and vegetation, from the great Ponderosa Pine, to the beautiful Sonoran Desert to the Grand Canyon and Mogollon Rim, Canyon de Shelly and Monument Valley, and many places in between. :) Enjoy!
Dere's an ol' man called de Mississippi Dat's de ol' man dat I'd like to be What does he care if de world's got troubles What does he care if de land ain't free
Fall 1955. High School of Music & Art. Senior Band. Ben Lindeman, conductor. It seems like yesterday. Nice memory. Music can do that.
What I hear/see in this piece is how beautiful this country AMERICA is. Please leave it alone, please don't cruse it,Thank God you were born here.

Yes, I agree completely. :-)
Oh my gosh, I am crying, I have not heard this in years, I love it. It is always on the flip side of Grand Canyon Suite. Thanks for posting.
The Mississippi Suite is magnificent like the river it is named for.
I like this better than the Grand Canyon Suite. Love the 2nd movement.

I only have to hear Old Creole Days and I start to cry. How ridiculous is that?
It's not ridiculous. I have the same reaction when I hear the song, "Cry Me a River".
I know exactly what you mean, I am the same way.

Felix Slatkin - not Ferix.
Sure sounds fluvial. Sound like Gershwin.
Since Grofé did orchestrations for Gershwin, it’s not surprising they sound alike!
Very poor editing job probably by you tube. Other than that it was fairly good.
