SONOMETER

A Sonometer is a device for demonstrating the relationship between the frequency of the sound produced by a plucked string, and the tension, length and mass per unit length of the string. These relationships are usually called Mersenne's laws after Marin Mersenne (1588-1648), who investigated and codified them.

For the third experiment how come when i do the L x sqrt m = k for brass and iron it doesnt give me the constant? 25 x sqrt 0.016 doesnt equal 9.32 but equals 3.16

Thanks.... But having a question that at the first experiment, according to my knowledge it should start from law space between B1 and B2 and then increasing the space until the paper fells down. You followed it while starting but when the moment of paper is falling, it seems to be that the space has rather decreased more than the starting moment's space........
