- Here’s a closer look at the first wave of Nerf N Series blasters. I go through the: Nerf N Series Ward, Agility, Pinpoint, and Infinite.
The Nerf N Series and N1 dart starts a lot of new things for Nerf, new darts, obviously, but also a lot of new ways of building blasters.
Thanks to Hasbro who sent out free products of the Nerf N Series blasters and got me out to Rhode Island to see the story behind N Series.

The N stands for "not cool".
At least nerf is somewhat trying at this point. It's been a while since they made much worth noting, but this series certainly seems to have more to offer.
Yeah, cool to see things evolve for sure
Look pretty good. I'm still struggling to wrap my head around another dart type though. Thank you for your thoughts and opinions.
I am guessing the post at the bottom is designed to reduce drag. Would love some actual data, though
@@adabsurdum5905 The actual stated purpose of the nub is to be... dart DRM. That is to say, NERF own putting that nub on a dart. Other companies cant do that, unlike elite darts which anyone can make.
@@adabsurdum5905it could be so the dart can actually compress an AR mechanism.
Been hoping they would take another crack at the Ultra type design. If they can find a way to reduce the drag then they can increase range without jacking up the FPS to crazy levels
10 gram tungsten throwing darts. If they leave the barrel at 50 feet per second, they'll fly forever. With plastic tips they won't even break the skin (much).
@@michaellee4276nerd is supposed to be used by kids too
They could have used the boomco dart design, those flew ridiculously far for how low their fps was
What do you think the Nseries dart is?
Interesting how the feed lips both help improve the experience of the younger demographic while presenting a challenge to experienced players by penalizing an early reaload, increasing the chance for an opening
Yeah, it’s a super interesting trade off
@@RyFiChannel I feel that consistent non-intrusive drawbacks are good for game health. It's the reason why a lot of people got tired of proton pack gauntlets so quickly
If nerf is trying out different ammo types, they will probably bring back vortex
All of us there vouched for Vortex lol
Awesome
This seems pretty interesting
It's a lot of fun to try it out!
That's cool
Glazing
The infinite is pretty good though.
40$ for the blaster and 80 darts. That’s a good deal for hasbro standards
@@dabbingraccoons6416 i guess
Bring back HYPER!!
Ngl I was a bit afraid of N Series being another gimmick line that’s gonna be forgotten in a few years but seeing how they redesigned everything and are replacing the Elite line entirely with this is insane.
I hope this line does well and I hope Nerf continues to go up instead of making random lines for no reason.
That is a great new looking gun for the nerf pro line but the basic paint design just isn't really for me
Mags without feed lips and a retaining clip? Must have gotten the idea from the Madsen LMG
It’s an interesting system, I think makes it overall easier to load
how is the plastic quality, thickness compared to elite 2.0? is it better?
It feels just as sturdy, but a little different "feel" in certain areas
@@RyFiChannel nice, thanks
@@RyFiChanneljust as sturdy as elite 2.0 is an insult
Sir when will this be available in india
Not sure about when these will release around the world
Not impressed with this new N series so far. I will keep a open mind.
I will also stock up on elite style darts while I can (they will be sold on Amazon)
It’ll be interesting to see what other companies do with full length elite style darts in the future
So the new darts won't fit any other blasters, and the new blasters can't fire any other darts?
This feels a lot like Ultra, Hyper, Mega XL ... all over again.
Oh, and the new blasters are ugly.
But how is the accuracy?
Accuracy feels improved over elite, is my impression. Hasbro tested in wind tunnels and such and said it’s about a 15% increase in accuracy.
I think we’ll get a better sense when the darts get used more heavily about durability.
@@RyFiChannel sadly with Elite darts at zero accuracy that only puts the new darts at 15% accuracy not 15% better.
@@nateswineford2150although looking at another TH-camrs tests the darts fire pretty straight now. They won’t curve in random directions but of course the accuracy coming out of the barrel is still not great.
@@nateswineford2150that’s not how that works, but okay.
even nerf themselves dont know who this blasters are for. Looks horrible for anyone playing games above 16 years old.
This is for the 8+ category. When I got the to talk with designers, they made a point to mention 14+ crowds (Rival, Gelfire, Pro) are different
Because they are made for kids? You have to realize 75% of nerf buyers are kids under the age of 16.
If you want some more stylish and higher performing blasters just go to dart zone they make better stuff anyways
