At least nerf is somewhat trying at this point. It's been a while since they made much worth noting, but this series certainly seems to have more to offer.
Yeah trying.... this is the best description of this line they(hasbro) want us buy another set of propriety darts with a line of medocore at best new guns half of them downright bad. At least the ultra darts were rigid and fly even in a small wind, also most weapons were powerful enough or at least motorized. We will see how long this new darts will last since hasbro told us the ultra darts will be compatible with more weapons but it just died out. I can see this n series will do the same.
@@adabsurdum5905 The actual stated purpose of the nub is to be... dart DRM. That is to say, NERF own putting that nub on a dart. Other companies cant do that, unlike elite darts which anyone can make.
Nerf didn't need to change the dart, they needed to put out a good gun. You can't realistically do much with an affordable piece of expendable foam. They never adopted a bamboo style dart or even seriously supported a half-dart. At the same time, they put out a long list of questionable blasters that nobody asked for. I think the Infinite was probably the first solid offering in a while. Considering the staunch competition they are now facing from third party suppliers on all fronts (professional, meme guns, darts, and fun guns,) and that they are owned by Hasbro, Nerf is most likely not long for this world.
Been hoping they would take another crack at the Ultra type design. If they can find a way to reduce the drag then they can increase range without jacking up the FPS to crazy levels
10 gram tungsten throwing darts. If they leave the barrel at 50 feet per second, they'll fly forever. With plastic tips they won't even break the skin (much).
Exactly it wasn't for making something new when i was latched on the new ultra darts and guns hasbro explicitely said new guns will be avaliable for the ultra darts and when that single line got out it was the end likely this will be the same with it or force players to get these new whack darts none of the scenarios are good tho....
Interesting how the feed lips both help improve the experience of the younger demographic while presenting a challenge to experienced players by penalizing an early reaload, increasing the chance for an opening

@@G0atedDigbarrrr He didn't lie last day we were on a shopping trip i saw the new N-series they are fells sturdy -ish first galnce but if you actually grab it it creaks just like the elite 2.0 but the material not "feels" as cheap but it is a cheap plastic with a better finish on it which makes to seem better. Accuracy feels improved over elite, is my impression. Hasbro tested in wind tunnels and such and said it’s about a 15% increase in accuracy. I think we’ll get a better sense when the darts get used more heavily about durability.
@@Swineford_incalthough looking at another TH-camrs tests the darts fire pretty straight now. They won’t curve in random directions but of course the accuracy coming out of the barrel is still not great.
So the new darts won't fit any other blasters, and the new blasters can't fire any other darts? This feels a lot like Ultra, Hyper, Mega XL ... all over again. Oh, and the new blasters are ugly.
Ngl I was a bit afraid of N Series being another gimmick line that’s gonna be forgotten in a few years but seeing how they redesigned everything and are replacing the Elite line entirely with this is insane. I hope this line does well and I hope Nerf continues to go up instead of making random lines for no reason.

Look pretty good. I'm still struggling to wrap my head around another dart type though. Thank you for your thoughts and opinions.
I am guessing the post at the bottom is designed to reduce drag. Would love some actual data, though

@@adabsurdum5905it could be so the dart can actually compress an AR mechanism.

The N stands for "not cool".
You’re just too poor to afford it 😂😂😂
@hexgirl8068 yeah, nerf is so high end. I will just keep to worker and sabre.

They could have used the boomco dart design, those flew ridiculously far for how low their fps was
What do you think the Nseries dart is?
this was clearly done so that people would stop using competitors darts in nerf brand blasters

It's a lot of fun to try it out!
Mags without feed lips and a retaining clip? Must have gotten the idea from the Madsen LMG

That is a great new looking gun for the nerf pro line but the basic paint design just isn't really for me
Bring back HYPER!!
even nerf themselves dont know who this blasters are for. Looks horrible for anyone playing games above 16 years old.
This is for the 8+ category. When I got the to talk with designers, they made a point to mention 14+ crowds (Rival, Gelfire, Pro) are different
Because they are made for kids? You have to realize 75% of nerf buyers are kids under the age of 16.
If you want some more stylish and higher performing blasters just go to dart zone they make better stuff anyways
The new line actually seems better performing than before i hope this line can be succesful because it actually seems better than the elite line

40$ for the blaster and 80 darts. That’s a good deal for hasbro standards
