Real friendship is realizing when a person's friend is talking casually about something they're insecure about, joking about how unrealistic the fear is and then crushing it very casually with a compliment and a joke and pretending not to notice how much it means to the person it was said to so they have some recovery time. Seriously look at Jared's face as Jensen tell the story, it's obvious how meaningful it is to him and Jensen knows but he just keeps talking so the audience doesn't look at Jared or embarrass him Jensen is such a freaking sweetheart
