There is a future in this pedal. Not like an on - off button, but rather learning how to play it better over time. The possibilities seem almost endless and players are going to develop that as an added feature to the guitar, rather than just another affects pedal for the pile.
Everything I play, can benefit from a bit of tremolo, here and there. Having that option, on the floor, will eventually become an indispensable part of my rig as I grow more comfortable in using it. All of my hard-tail guitars will love it.

Are there any pedals similar to this for someone on a budget? This thing is freakin sweet but $370 is outta my range at the moment.

I own one. Only downside is it’s limited to 1 octave, so, I had to also get a Ricochet .

Would this be the same as the Digitech Whammy?

Almost, it has midi and the spring of the mechanism make it easy to create tremolo effect with foot

I've come across a problem with mine. If I have it set to the octave and I'm pushing down as you were in the beginning of the video, it doesn't quite go to that full octave. I don't know if the metal arm is bending so it's not quite there or if the sensor is off, but if I pull on the top portion while I'm doing that it will hit the octave. Thing is out of whack
