What are tags? Also what if I want to ask them to confirm their subscription And give them an incentive, is it possible to do it in one email
I agree I’m confused as well…I also don’t understand why you need tags for this? And why did you manually add an email subscriber? Is that not automated when they sign up? And google workspace I believe isn’t free so if I’m just starting out not being able to use my gmail accounts is unacceptable. It doesn’t look like this person responds to comments so I guess I’ll have to look for more videos.
You can tag subscribers based on anything you want to be able to segment your audience in different groups. We could create tags for people interested in TH-cam, podcasting, email marketing, etc. We can tag our customers, we can tag people who bought a specific product. If you want to send a sequence of emails to someone after they make a purchase, you'd need to have a way to tell your email marketing software which subscribers should receive those emails.
As far as a business email, there are plenty of options besides Google Workspace. I don't recommend doing business with a free personal email address. It's not seen as credible.

I’m sadly don’t understand the tags? How will I know if they are interested in certain topics I put on tags and how does that work for them if they are tag in to a topic they like?
Imagine you have 2 landing pages that give subscriber something for free for signing up: 1. Guide to saving money at grocery stores 2. How to start investing. Both are interested in money, but you can tag 1 with saving money tag and 2 with investing tag. You know based on what they signed up for that they have an interest in the topic. You can sending investing content to 2 and money saving advice to 1 because you have the tags. You could also send an email to everyone, totally up to you. Does that help?
