Minecraft: Java Edition (formerly just Minecraft) is the original version of Minecraft, developed by Mojang Studios for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Notch began development on May 10, 2009, publicly releasing Minecraft on May 17, 2009. The full release of the game (version 1.0.0) was on November 18, 2011, at MINECON 2011.
Bedrock Edition (officially subtitle-less; also known as the Bedrock editions, Bedrock versions, or just Bedrock) refers to the multi-platform versions of Minecraft developed by Mojang Studios, Xbox Game Studios, and SkyBox Labs and based on the Bedrock codebase. The latest Bedrock Edition version is 1.18.2.
Although all Bedrock editions are nearly identical, the price[note 1] varies depending on the platform. The Android version costs US$7.49 (£5.41), while the iOS/iPadOS and Fire versions cost US$6.99 (£5.05). The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions cost US$19.99 (£14.45). and iven with bows with flame on bedrock, i learnt it the hard way I was with a friend looking for some netherite and we dig straight forward and filled it with tnt and he said like wouldnt it be funny if i shoot the tnt with the bow and explodes, me: wow that would be really cool adition to the game, (he shoots an arrow), not cool anymore.
And also if they stops burning just break it with any silk touch tool (axe best) and put it again then it lit up again

I have both version of minecraft but I still prefer bedrock because I can play on whatever device I want. I have a realm and a server in bedrock edition and I can play on those worlds whether I’m on phone, pc or console.

BEDROCK: when you use a tool it makes an animation in the enlarge slot
JAVA: this animation does not appear it only remains static
Yeah it helps when your Unbreaking 3 tool is about to break, you can see after how many uses your tool looses 1 durability, cuz 1 durability= 3 when enchanted with Unbreaking 3
Both versions should be treated equally

both are very good, but I prefer the java version because it has a classic style that is retro and pixelated developed directly by notch, to be honest I'm just an old java player

Java: good for performance, unless you're playing it with a toaster, also, good for the commands, and features, and MODS, and obviously resource packs and datapacks
Bedrock: test features, useless but cool features, features in general, hardness
also for bedrock we do have market place worlds
And we can also download cool resource packs and mods, there are also some realistic shaders that can run on 4 GB storage but are only allowed for bedrock

I got a tip for all 160 million Bedrock players: bring a charged creeper everywhere you go! Taking it boating will allow you to see the ocean floor, and taking it mining to suffocate it in a block will give you xray when looked at!
