Manual targeting is great and provides a wonderful strategic layer but if it turns out anything like AFK Journey (and I assume Arena) which it currently resembles then eventually the battles become too frantic for manual control and one has to rely on auto. Basically ults don't happen quickly enough and the risk of time out is too great if one doesn't set the fight to auto. The strategy comes in with who you take into the fight and where you place them, with even just one tile to the left or right sometimes being the difference between defeat and victory. As well as what investment decisions you make with your roster as later resources become so rare that you only get to advance 2 or so characters every month. Just a guess though, perhaps I'm wrong, I just wanted to caution against assuming there will be no auto content and that it remains strategic because eventually that may no longer be the case.
Thanks for the heads up! I’ll definitely keep an eye out for that. Not sure how I would feel if it does end up that way. The strategy part of placement and team comp is still fun. But skill based gameplay is more my jam.
I had alpha access but stopped after about 2 weeks. There's nothing wrong with the game, but it's just not for me. There is a lack of fine control that sometimes frustrated and changed the game at a critical moment.
Of for sure he can be. They have Spider-Man in the game after all. And at the end of the day those big names like Wolverine drive players so I’m sure you’ll see him. I mean Ironman in here and nothing really mystic about him 🤣
Whenever there is some mystic threat in either Marvel or DC there's usually some element the non-mystic heroes can fashion weapons out of, or perhaps some amulet they can attach that lets them combat the mystical. So I'm sure everyone is available. That's why demonic gear when Mephisto came out in MSF bothered me. Heroes wouldn't use demonic gear, they'd fashion something out of enchanted Uru or something like that to take on a demonic threat. Although I don't think red when I think Uru and since they're already chosen the colour, and already had gold previously, I guess crimson will have to do.

Hulk isn't mystic themed but here's here. Same with Ironman he's shown in the website. They can just use anyone and add in some mystical enchantments
