Zurgoll well ....good....to...know? Okay in Denmark we have a saying for a reply like that, and it goes like this... vigtig viden ligegyldig info... but sure nice to know👍
My favorite thing about vanilla was that heroes were the same size as everyone else. Now everyone is like 5 feet taller than the biggest races in the game.
Yeah, they were actually just repurposed character models, which was overall good I think. It made them and other "hero" units like Rexxar and Nathanos feel relatively grounded, even though they were all faaaaar beyond what players could ever do.
@SinisterMinister Nah this dude is 100% Danish. I'm cringing at how thick the accent is, it's bloody obvious. If you call this dude Australian, you've never heard that accent before. :p And just because people are comparing him to Arnold doesn't make him Australian either. I primarily believe that's because of the heavy wording and the way he pronounce them.
Thanks mate! Some of the abilities are really awesome and unique, and that's definitely the main thing I like about the faction leader encounters. It's always great to be surprised with new stuff like that in the game.
Could you (if you haven't yet) investigate/cover other "boss" faction NPCs, like Nathanos and Rexxar, in a video? I was shocked when I found out how hard those two can be.
Excellent video ive always wondered about how to go about killing the faction leaders. I killed the horde leaders for the achievement back in Wrath of the Lich King but I have never killed the alliance leaders, csnnot wait for the next part of this series! !
Thank you very much! I'm happy you seemed to like the video so much. I'll definitely try to get the Alliance video done some time in the not so distant future.
Great video! I was just hoping for some info on Saurfang too who is known to wipe inexperienced pvp groups who go for him. Know he isn't strictly a faction leader but I thought it would be fun to know.
Thank you! I might do a future video on NPCs like Saurfang granted that I can gather enough interesting and general information about them (I believe there's at least 1 Alliance NPC with similar strength to Saurfang).
I would consider Magatha Blackhoof ,found on the druid section of the Tauren capital, a faction leader as well, however she is not an elite. She is one of the few NPC with a unique voice actor and I believe was suppose to be a counterpart to Fandral on the Alliance.
I can't seem to find any results on the name "Magatha Blackhoof" in any Classic databases. Are you sure it's the correct name? Still, if there's an NPC like that with unique voice lines that's very interesting - I never knew of any in Thunder Bluff besides Cairne.

That would be really cool, but the fight simulations would have to be private server based (where HP values, damage, abilities etc. might not be the exact same as in Classic).

Yep, I don't know why Blizzard made it like that. It's a big disadvantage to Horde players looking to take down an Alliance faction leader. It's really hard to go unnoticed.
Really? thunder is the least protected city? i tend to disagree. thunder bluff is always full of people, and except the world buff-poping which takes place in orgrimmar, thunder bluff is the best city horde has. In addition, u won't experience problems queing from a battlemaster in thunder bluff like u have in orgrimmar cus the battlemasters in thunder bluff are taller and generally larger, really easy to click on them and que even if there are tons of players there. The fly path takes u swiftly to important places like Feralas , which is a very popular multi dungeon while also being the best farming spot for many classes. Onyxia lair is also very close from a TB fly path. I know those things seem irrelevant and people were definetly ignoring Thunderbluff back in the days, it was all about orgrimmar. @akhs denlew You have definitely given a lot of thought to the topic, and you have a lot of interesting inputs. Thunder Bluff might very well be more populated in terms of player traffic than I give it credit for in the video, and I really like its atmosphere myself. You make some good points about its benefits. When I say Thunder Bluff is the least protected city I'm referring to the faction leader more than the city itself which I should have clarified. I don't think Cairne is as well protected as the other Horde faction leaders, but for the city itself it might be a different story. When making the video, I did think in the back of my mind that TB was the least populated main city on the Horde side, so it has probably changed the way I worded different things.
