On a serious note, this song is perfect for that one achievement in RB3 where you have you keep overdrive deployed for 90 seconds. I used to play this song on World Tour all the time.
This venue for rock band 1 is so nostalgic. Feels like most of the super old fc’s in 2008 had this venue
Oh man, I remember this was the song to abuse your overdrive meter. The slow bpm combine with the 3/4 time signature made it seem as though you’ll never run out of overdrive.
Also at 2:32 are 8th notes in Rock Band while 16th nots in Guitar Hero are the biggest chart differences I can think of and when isolating the guitar tracks, it’s suppose to be 8th notes but the drums in 16th making it sound like 16th guitar notes.
Then we have Guitar Hero Live which reverted back to 8th notes as it should but the live action video shows the guitarist playing 16th notes. This segment alone has confused developers and players so much it’s kind of hilarious.
There are multiple guitar parts layered throughout the song.

So technically, both charts are right. It's like the build-up to the choruses of "Misery Business" by Paramore. Guitar Hero: World Tour charted a slower-strummed electric guitar, while Rock Band 3 charted a fastly-strummed acoustic guitar.
Another goated song 😎👌 This one is a huge nostalgia factor for me, it was one of the very first dlc songs I purchased for rb2 in late 2008 along with Mr. Brightside, All the Small Things, CrushCrushCrush, BYOB, Joker and the Thief, and a few others. Those were the glory days ngl.

Ah, the song with extremely slow overdrive. I remember mentioning this the other 2 times this song was on this channel in World Tour and GH Live (the forbidden failure).
Oh, and hot take: This is when 30STM was actually good and not... whatever the hell they are now. Geez, what happened to them and Fall Out Boy?! They're completely unrecognizable now from their earlier albums, which is a HUGE shame...
Well, I wouldn't say that is a hot take, since most people, myself included, do think this band and FOB aren't as good as they were before. Of course some people don't even like these bands and call them emo trash or something lmao.
I love that you actually play all the songs/track packs in the games they originally were released on. After playing GH1 & 2 back in 06 after the recommendation of my buddy Scott, I became a bigger HMX fan and bought RB1 after my mom showed me some kid playing it on an episode of Oprah one day (lmao, the memories. Such nice times back then.) Was hooked for good then. HMX used to be pretty generous with their free song packs back then.

As other people have already mentioned, this song is perfect for going for the Overdrive related achievements, since the BPM is very slow.
I actually purchased this song to get those aforementioned achievements. I had no idea it was in the first Track Pack.
Just don’t understand why the official version of the song doesn’t end the same way… it’s dumbest thing. This outro is the best.
The best thing you can say about this song is it’s good for the Bachman-Turner Overdrive achievement over on RB3.
