This theme is really nice with all the emotion and the grandness it contains, but I personally think that it gets pretty repetitive after you hear it a few times since the rhythm is a bit too simple... I experience this in some other songs done by Kageyama and although he has great orchestrating skills (as shown in his alternate arrangement of N's Farewell in B/W) I guess this is why his pieces feel a bit less appealing to me, when songs done by Go Ichinose and Hitomi Sato have much more complex rhythms and super nice gimmicks here and there. Anyways, nice performance! Especially loved the flute part in measure 12!
+Jiho Hwang YES. Absolutely. What Gen 6 lacked above anything else was the complex and unrefined rhythms that Go Ichinose boldly pushed forth starting from GSC. It's not that it's bad haha, it's just...different. Perhaps just a little disappointing for a Pokemon music fan. ^^ Good point made on the gimmicks too! Glad you enjoyed the show though, and thank you for mentioning that flute part - I spent the most practice time on just that xD
Hello! You did a great job with this, especially with the few few measures - it nearly sounds like leaves falling! The section starting at the end of the 8th measure must have been hard considering that (I think) it's played with a brass instrument in the original.. I've noticed in all of your covers that you're able to do a great job with violins but to me personally at least it sounds like you have more trouble with horns? But then again, you may not have been going for the exact feel of the original. Well whether I'm right or wrong it certainly sounds awesome!
+Branch Heyya! ^^ The way that the arrangement is written does suggest horn pairing, so if it doesn't have the power of brasses, then it's really just a shortcoming in my technique. Which is something I'm aware of! ^^ I know I tend to touch the keys too lightly in general, and this compromises on the power and dynamic ranges that I can capitalise on. So this is something I'll try to work on more conscientiously when I have the time to :) Thank you for pointing that out though, always enjoy criticism ^^

Instead, you go and praise regions like Johto, which has some of the most generic route themes aside from route 47. Look, I love Sinnoh just as much as everyone else, but that doesn't mean that EVERYONE thinks it's the best thing ever, and while most of the songs are good, there are those like Eterna city and Valor lakefront that just sound really bad with the DS soundfont, just ask chuggaconroy. Look, I dont mean to start an arguement, you're a very talented pianist, but I'm just really sad that everyone writes off Kalos's phenomenal soundtrack as generic without actually listening it. I know it's just preference, but at least I'm not so nostalgia blind to worship one or two particular games and then shun the rest. :(
