I'm a white girl and have never worn a wig in my life, so my advice is to be taken with a fraction of a grain of salt. LOL! But I've been watching a lot of videos, thinking about trying a wig over my thin hair, but one tip I saw similar to your thinning tip to avoid tangling was to TWIST each lock before going in with several cuts down the length with the thinning shears (instead of combing it straight the way you had it) so that the thinning would be more evenly spread out and not accidentally cut a chunk out. Just thought I would pass that on because it made sense to me. Great vid! Liked.

You look great in this. This is one of my favourite textures. Often with human hair when I have got kinky straight hair it was, more often than not trash, with a couple of exceptions. Extensions Plus used to do excellent kinky straight texture but the price was HIGH. Very tempting, but I worry about longevity and also it going frizzy at the ends, but for the price it may be worth a try as I really do not trust human hair vendors much any more.

I’ve seen a couple of comments of people who have managed with normal scissors but I’m not that skilled so I have no idea how to do it without the sheering scissors 😅
But it’s really important that the hair is cut at different sections, that’s what makes it tangle free
