I started to watch this as I was looking for something else. So I watch a couple minutes and then moved on like let me find what I’m looking for. Well I ask God, I need some help, I’m getting frustrated but I know you have the answer. I need to understand the soil. So the next day someone tells me about you and sends me the same video i started. She said this seems like what you want to do. I’m a juicer and starting a business and want to juice from my garden and I believe God is the ultimate gardener. So in listening and he mention James then Paul.. and when I listen to Paul….. Hello 👋🏽 from Long Island, New York! I understand 100% what you are saying concerning your testimony! I am 61 & left my job last year after 22 years in hospital management! The job was getting toxic and dysfunctional, so I retired! The Lord blessed me to take a few months off and start gardening last year. I started slow with growing peppers & tomatoes, and a variety of flowers! The Lord is blessing me & my family to still live comfortably & still save $$ every month! I’m covered with my husband’s health insurance & he is a postal worker for 29 years! We trust in the Lord and know he would never leave us or forsake us! Extended family members & coworkers are perplexed how I am able to stay at home and be emancipated from the rat race, since I don’t have to & work during in this tough economy! 😅😂 They don’t know that I invested heavily in my 403b plan & transferred it to two IRA accounts for financial growth! You guys are blessed & God will give you favor as long as you continue praising him and letting others know how awesome he is! God bless! 😊🙏🏾❤️
This is my dream. Lived it before in my home country. Had chickens, my dad hunted and did some fishing. We had lots of food and did barter trade with our community. I miss it so bad. Now I have 10 acres of land after and doing community gardening. Have hauled leaves with a uhaul before.

My dream was always to have acreage in heavily wooded hills. The door that God opened for me and my family was mono-cropped farmland which was used up, abandoned and taken over by tumbleweeds, but it did have power, a well and septic. Seems like I could go out with a packet of seed, throw it up in the wind, walk away and He would bring forth such a bountiful harvest that I had to give it to those who needed it because there was so much more that I could use. I’ve said that this property is a gift through me, not just for me. I testify to how His hand made it happen every chance I get. Having this experience lets me find channels such as yours and I smile knowing how He is working through you and how many people you can reach, how you will continue to grow, how the blessings will keep coming. Looking forward to seeing many more of your videos, especially as you develop your garden, because it will surely be a gift through you for others. Never lose sight of your calling, your vision and of course, the wonderful relationship you two have!
I have bought almost 2 acres here in NE Vic Australia with a very run down house on it which I've slowly done up, slowly I'm getting any weedy trees taken out and replace them with food trees or plants, so far I have fruit almost 10 months of the year and my freezer is full. I just put in above ground metal beds as my back is not good due to a car accident, so I continue to feel so blessed and abundant, I have apple trees, orange, lemons, figs, apricots, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple guava, persimmons, grapes, pomegranet, quince, carob, loquat, peaches, nectarine, cumquats, olives and I'm sure I've forgotten some, I prune them low every year as I can't use a ladder anymore but my life is good, I just put in some raspberry cuttings that a friend gave me so I hope they survive, I enjoy watching your progress xo
You need a 7ft fence to keep the deer out. The right type of dogs would be helpful also. Do it your self; buy 10 or 12ft PT 2x4 lumber, and 8ft landscape lumber. (home depot has it} Landscape lumber is no longer than 8ft. Fasten, screw the 2x4 to the flat side of landscape lumber; then cut landscape lumber to complete the length of 2x4. Sink you lumber 36 inches dept, add a bag {60 or 80lb} mixed cement. Your next pole you sink will be quite aways from your first. Just beyond your 2nd pole, put a temporary pole in which you can string line from your 1st pole. Your doing this to get the right height of your 2nd pole. Than run a tight string line to your temp pole from the top of your 1st pole with string line levels. {there inexpensive and about the size of your thumb} You might want to let your 1st pole setup before you set your 2nd pole so theres no movement. If it a small area, like 40 by 40, or 50 by 50, you can set all four corner post before you do the in between post. If much larger, you do one side at a time. I suggest the longest between 1st and 2nd post is 60 ft, and continue that way until reached desired length.. The in between post of the 1st nd 2nd post is suggested to be 12 to 15ft apart using the string line for right height. Make sure all post are set before fencing. After I set all my lumber post, I use 2inch by 4inch wire mesh 5ft wide rolls of fence wire. Once wire is set, I then use these 7ft iron fence post {there green, home depot} and placed them every five feet up against the inside of fence and drive them down with a baby sledge hammer about 30 inches. Then I tire-wire the fence tightly to the iron post. Above the 5ft wire mesh height, I run barb wire all around the upper fence several times. Don't put to much space between each barb wire run, because deer can jump between them. Also, a deer can jump 6ft from a stand still position Whats good about doing it yourself, repairs are easy. A 2inch by 4inch wire mesh will keep small animals out. Some smaller animals don't like open fields because they are prey to large birds, hawks and owls. Keep this in mind when you have small pets or farm animals. Hawks are daytime and owls are night time. I hope some of this info was helpful. God Bless

Your speaking motivates me to continue on. My husband and I married in 2002. But we were together for 11 years prior. Had 2 kids outside of marriage. And just have done everything out of order. I say this to say. When you are outside the will of God. He watches over you and protects you. But things don't line up the way He intended. Also, we have never had a plan. We just have winged it. You and your wife make me see. We NEED GOD! But we have to have a plan in order to be able to ask our heavenly Father to clear the way for it. Thank you!!! Most of the perennials that were eaten by the deer should come back, The roots/ bulbs should still be viable. Don't count them all out yet. I have bunnies that love to eat my young hostas when they come up each spring too. Have faith, I love your vision.

I love to see your joy. You are putting smiles on thousands of faces. Keep it up. Have you heard about double fences? they are perfect for gardens because you can plant between them. Deer jump any fence under 6 feet high. However, when they approach two fences, (one inside the other). then they are confused about two consecutive jumps, and they stay out.
I do not know your preferences but for me, my dream is lots of berries, especially blueberries, in the space between the two fences which look alike but are separated by six feet. This should really confuse the deer. God will give you your plan which will be so much more fun for you, so you need not adapt mine.@@promiseviewacres

Here in Sequim, deer fences (and the gates) have to be 8 feet tall or the deer just jump over them. And rabbits can go through the wire hog panels. We just fenced our homestead perimeter, but don't have our deer fencing up yet. So much to do!

My dream was always to have acreage in heavily wooded hills. The door that God opened for me and my family was mono-cropped farmland which was used up, abandoned and taken over by tumbleweeds, but it did have power, a well and septic.
Seems like I could go out with a packet of seed, throw it up in the wind, walk away and He would bring forth such a bountiful harvest that I had to give it to those who needed it because there was so much more that I could use.
I’ve said that this property is a gift through me, not just for me. I testify to how His hand made it happen every chance I get. Having this experience lets me find channels such as yours and I smile knowing how He is working through you and how many people you can reach, how you will continue to grow, how the blessings will keep coming.
Looking forward to seeing many more of your videos, especially as you develop your garden, because it will surely be a gift through you for others. Never lose sight of your calling, your vision and of course, the wonderful relationship you two have!

I have bought almost 2 acres here in NE Vic Australia with a very run down house on it which I've slowly done up, slowly I'm getting any weedy trees taken out and replace them with food trees or plants, so far I have fruit almost 10 months of the year and my freezer is full. I just put in above ground metal beds as my back is not good due to a car accident, so I continue to feel so blessed and abundant, I have apple trees, orange, lemons, figs, apricots, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple guava, persimmons, grapes, pomegranet, quince, carob, loquat, peaches, nectarine, cumquats, olives and I'm sure I've forgotten some, I prune them low every year as I can't use a ladder anymore but my life is good, I just put in some raspberry cuttings that a friend gave me so I hope they survive, I enjoy watching your progress xo
You need a 7ft fence to keep the deer out. The right type of dogs would be helpful also.
Do it your self; buy 10 or 12ft PT 2x4 lumber, and 8ft landscape lumber. (home depot has it}
Landscape lumber is no longer than 8ft. Fasten, screw the 2x4 to the flat side of landscape
lumber; then cut landscape lumber to complete the length of 2x4. Sink you lumber 36 inches
dept, add a bag {60 or 80lb} mixed cement. Your next pole you sink will be quite aways from
your first. Just beyond your 2nd pole, put a temporary pole in which you can string line from
your 1st pole. Your doing this to get the right height of your 2nd pole. Than run a tight string
line to your temp pole from the top of your 1st pole with string line levels.
{there inexpensive and about the size of your thumb}
You might want to let your 1st pole setup before you set your 2nd pole so theres no movement.
If it a small area, like 40 by 40, or 50 by 50, you can set all four corner post before you do the
in between post. If much larger, you do one side at a time. I suggest the longest between 1st
and 2nd post is 60 ft, and continue that way until reached desired length..
The in between post of the 1st nd 2nd post is suggested to be 12 to 15ft apart using the string line
for right height. Make sure all post are set before fencing. After I set all my lumber post,
I use 2inch by 4inch wire mesh 5ft wide rolls of fence wire.
Once wire is set, I then use these 7ft iron fence post {there green, home depot} and
placed them every five feet up against the inside of fence and drive them down with a baby
sledge hammer about 30 inches. Then I tire-wire the fence tightly to the iron post. Above the 5ft
wire mesh height, I run barb wire all around the upper fence several times. Don't put to much space
between each barb wire run, because deer can jump between them. Also, a deer can jump 6ft from a
stand still position Whats good about doing it yourself, repairs are easy. A 2inch by 4inch wire mesh
will keep small animals out. Some smaller animals don't like open fields because they are prey to
large birds, hawks and owls. Keep this in mind when you have small pets or farm animals.
Hawks are daytime and owls are night time.

Your speaking motivates me to continue on. My husband and I married in 2002. But we were together for 11 years prior. Had 2 kids outside of marriage. And just have done everything out of order. I say this to say. When you are outside the will of God. He watches over you and protects you. But things don't line up the way He intended. Also, we have never had a plan. We just have winged it. You and your wife make me see. We NEED GOD! But we have to have a plan in order to be able to ask our heavenly Father to clear the way for it. Thank you!!! I was in tears during your testimony,especially when the seed came to life while surrounded by hard dirt,God did that and the greatest thing is that you got it.

Basil, oregano, peppermint spearmint , lavender and other herbs will deter deer and rabbits. Plant them around the boarder of you garden.

God bless you brother. I have dealt with chronic illness since 2020 but God. The Lord moved us to VA from CT and blessed us with a beautiful land. Building unto the Lord for His glory and honor. Have you heard about double fences? they are perfect for gardens because you can plant between them. Deer jump any fence under 6 feet high. However, when they approach two fences, (one inside the other). then they are confused about two consecutive jumps, and they stay out.
I have! I plan on doing something like that once this fence is in, just not sure on exactly how I want to go about it. Any ideas?
I do not know your preferences but for me, my dream is lots of berries, especially blueberries, in the space between the two fences which look alike but are separated by six feet. This should really confuse the deer. God will give you your plan which will be so much more fun for you, so you need not adapt mine.@@promiseviewacres

Here in Sequim, deer fences (and the gates) have to be 8 feet tall or the deer just jump over them. And rabbits can go through the wire hog panels. We just fenced our homestead perimeter, but don't have our deer fencing up yet. So much to do!
