I laugh at religion, but I have a relationship. Do you want one? The truth is apart from religion and ideas, the truth is what Jesus spoke and proved. The truth is proven, all you have to do is ask God. What will it hurt to seek God with all your heart. I imagine you search for truth and not a idea. I know every persone does know there is a God if they amit it or not. Some of us had incounters with Him you know, its not all about the flare you see in church these days. Its about Jesus the truth.
I like Google. I used their search engine, I use Google Earth and I use Google SketchUp. But I must disagree with your comment. Adobe, Apple and Microsoft (as much as I dislike the latter two at times) products may not be worth the money they ask for them, but they are far more powerful than anything Google could ever hope to create. That said, yes, Google has some amazing software whose costless-ness does tend to boggle the mind. XD But, I don't think they should be compared like you just did.
The new google earth is SHIT!! The extra crap is all a waste of hard drive space AND memory. I can't get the ocean thing to work, and the time thing is bull shit. Certain locations don't have a whole lot of history, even with disneyland, I can only go back to about 1990ish. That's lame! I wanna see disneyland in the 1950's! I wish I kept the old version instead of replacing it with the new one.

Google Earth is made up of millions of aerial photos. Photos usually range from 1 to 3 years ago. If you clivk on 2009, you get the most recent photo. It is cost prohibitive to continually update all locations. The most densely populated and developing areas are updated most frequently.
When I zoom into the sea it just stops and then goes onto the surface, with the sky mainly in shot, as though you are sat on a boat. I can't get under the surface like it says you can! I appreciate you help! What am I doing wrong?
Somebody told me they had Google Earth and they could watch things that were currently happening. Is this true? Is Google Earth really linked up to some satellite and you can really see what's going on? If not, then I'm not gonna waste my money buying it -_-;

yes the ocean thing is retarted. Took me forever to figure out how to do it and it is not as cool as this video makes it to be. It's a huge waste of space and it's not even that much extra space, but still. I wish I would have kept the older version because this new one is crap.
What's cool it that you can actually find the Titanic ship under the water. The surface of my water doesn't move like that, but .....it still looks snazzy. But why doesn't it look like it does in the video?
Will the next version of Google Earth have access to live city cameras(not in private homes and places like that but on the streets and schools and stuff)? I really hope so. It gets boring looking at one picture of your house.

Water movement is not stationary so it needs a better graphics card to produce the movement. Your stationary items may seem fine and your speed too, but movement in mass quantiy like water needs a better graphics card. Godbless :)
It's all good fun and all, but you know that because you can see locations in the friggen 1940's that the government with there advanced tech has been watching our every move for years... maybe not on an individual basis but geez. Kinda scary in a way.
i really like google earth 5.0 but on my laptop whenever it keeps on sticking my laptop freezs and i have to turn off by pressing the butten. it happpen 4 or 5 times on that day. but good video 5/5 :)
Because i think there might be a type of digital block on greenland to satellites...there is a town in montana (i think...) that has made a huge lawsuit to take it off of google earth and MSN earth view...

Select ocean in layers then keep double clicking (zooming) towards the ocean to get there but dont try to get to close to the coast..... try the open seas!

Google...you can stuff Google Earth with as many features as you want, but most people are only ever gonna use it to look for their house :P
YEAH! Everyone actually controls their own satellite! In a couple of days you will be able to see millions of sattelites flying around the world!

Google Earth does have a space featue, but its not that good.
Try a program called Celestia, its like earth but adapted for space.

May be Google Earth 5 has a Lot of features to Load, that is why it takes time to Load all the stuff. (Dont know really)
you have to go to the google updater in all programs in start then click on updates and install them, thats what i just did lol
