There was more than five of them. The drummer and bass player changed a few times in the early days. Mark Evans was Bass player on the first 4 albums which IMO were the best. The lineup in this video (with Rudd on drums and Williams on bass) only did 2 albums together before Bon Scott died

Bon Scott ,is a true rock singer. A great talent !!!! Deserves to be considered as one of rocks best singers ever!!! So much "grit" , personality, chrisma and excitement he brought to the band and the world! Bon, was the perfect match for the AC/DC . ⚡⚡💥💥👊👊👍👍💯💯
There was only one Bon Scott. There will never be another one. His stage presence and charisma could never be replicated. His unique voice could never be copied. I feel the band was at their peak at this time. I wish Bon could have lived a little longer to enjoy the money and success that Back in Black brought to the band. During his lifetime Bon could have never imagined he would be considered a legend in the future. Rest in peace and thank you for all the great music and entertainment. Gone but never forgotten.

Bon Scott was the proverbial train wreck. AND I LOVE HIM! Is AC/DC not one of the best rock bands in history? No frills, no tricks, no flashy outfits. Just pure, hard-driving rock music. They are different in their own ways, and one could argue that the band had more success with Mr. Johnson, but sometimes there's nothing like the original.

I've been a fan since jr high school, and Bon Scott was one of the best lead singers of all time for sure. Witty tongue in cheek risque lyrics and great stage presence. I saw AC/DC three times with Brian Johnson (Back In Black, FTATR, and Flick Of The Switch) and enjoyed every show but one of the regrets I have is not getting to see them with Bon. This is my go to AC/DC album.
They are my favourite musicians of all time, and to this day I still can’t believe a short fella in a schoolboy outfit is one of the most important members of the loudest, grooviest hard rock bands to have ever existed. AC/DC ain't just no rockin band...they're a PHENOMENON.
Stature isn't everything!! Being a small lady, ( 5'3") I taught many people that really GOOD things come in small packages!❤️👍Angus's stature means NOTHING! I never looked at his height- his GIFT , and personality are larger than life!
My Moto-X buddy told me I had to hear this band ACDC. We went to the garage and sat in his 1967 GTO. He plugged in the 8-Track and we listened to the entire tape. I was 17 and he was 15 and waiting to get his license. My truck had a cassette player and I bought that same album in cassette form the next day. This was my friends favorite song and it always brings back the old days when I hear it. I have all of their music on CD now and listen to it in my Town Car. My how Times have Changed !!
What can I say? Simply said; They are the Most Awesome Band of All Time. Full Throttle Rock! Can You imagine what a Bad Day it was To be an Band that had to Follow Ac/DC onto a Stage for a Live Performance? Back in the 70's They were the optimum Rock Band.

I remember, played lots of these acdc tunes in the exotic dance bars! Including Back In Black album, which came later. Its difficult NOT to dance to these awesome songs!
I have full respect for Brian but when I first heard this band I was about 8 years old...Bon was the band and that loss killed me...that incredible voice matched the music...RIP bon...your voice is still heard and always will be

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that saw AC DC with Bon Scott live at Massey Hall in Toronto on June 12, 1979. A memory that I will cherish forever.
I saw them in I believe '78. Market Square Arena, Indianapolis Indiana. They opened for Ted Nugent. Scorpion was in the lineup also.

Wasn’t the same with Wright and Slade. Both good drummers but not the same feel/swing to it like Rudd.

This is one of those albums that is 100% killer, no filler.
I've been a fan since jr high school, and Bon Scott was one of the best lead singers of all time for sure. Witty tongue in cheek risque lyrics and great stage presence. I saw AC/DC three times with Brian Johnson (Back In Black, FTATR, and Flick Of The Switch) and enjoyed every show but one of the regrets I have is not getting to see them with Bon. This is my go to AC/DC album.

Stature isn't everything!! Being a small lady, ( 5'3") I taught many people that really GOOD things come in small packages!❤️👍Angus's stature means NOTHING! I never looked at his height- his GIFT , and personality are larger than life!
My Moto-X buddy told me I had to hear this band ACDC. We went to the garage and sat in his 1967 GTO. He plugged in the 8-Track and we listened to the entire tape. I was 17 and he was 15 and waiting to get his license. My truck had a cassette player and I bought that same album in cassette form the next day. This was my friends favorite song and it always brings back the old days when I hear it. I have all of their music on CD now and listen to it in my Town Car. My how Times have Changed !!

What can I say? Simply said; They are the Most Awesome Band of All Time. Full Throttle Rock! Can You imagine what a Bad Day it was To be an Band that had to Follow Ac/DC onto a Stage for a Live Performance? Back in the 70's They were the optimum Rock Band.
I agree. I saw them in 1975, in Sydney. They literally lifted the roof off the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney. Never seen a video of them that captured it.
