I used to be known for my dunks in an old clan. Once I got to T9 I didn’t do it as much because I’d bounce off of the pin often.
I’d like to add that on some par 3s I’d roll in the ruff or sand. Without a dunk it depends on hitting perfect, but with a dunk at fairly close range a great will still dunk just fine, and not getting a par in a tournament 💥🏌️

Hello Ben. Please consider preparing an Academy on ball selection. I see players using exotic balls for simple par 3's, high wind resistant balls when a low wind resistant ball is called for (tail wind on a par 5), etc. Cheers

Excellent idea John - I’ll definitely look into that!

Funny story, my first dunk the game recognized was actually a putt on the Sakura Hills Par 5 featured in the previous 9-hole tourney, but in regular tour play.
I've yet to get comfortable attempting a dunk with more than 4mph wind. If I'm out of the running for the weekend round, I'll start attempting dunks on all holes, where possible.

How is the elevation reduced for the dunk shot.. say for example we have 20% elevation with Thorn normal shot. So for dunk should we consider only 10% or 15%?

It varies depending on the hole, but the reason it’s often lower is that we’ve no wind push to account for like we normally would between the 1st and 2nd bounces. 😀
