Thanks for the review. I guess I'll stick to my drying basket; no twisting and also handles shoes. Am looking forward to a review of how clean the evaporator remains without a sponge filter (probably my only gripe about the Lux dryers).
Regarding the dryer, there are 3 time settings on the wool program and there is no low heat option. If you want a low temp drying cycle, I recommend using the bedlinen program. On mine it usually doesn't exceed 45c.
Heat levels are settled by the program used on these dryers. Wool one uses the lowest, not bedlinen which is higher. There is no time setting available with wool, only cupboard dry.
@@enlilw-l2mieleguy1600 is right, for bigger loads that need to be dried on a low temperature the bedlinen XL is great. With the AbsoluteCare technology it also reverses a lot on this cycle and the tumble speed is perfect for even drying. Wool is only for a few delicate items like here.
@@zanussi_and_aeg_fan i was talking about drying woollens, bedlinen program is too hot for that. I would never use it personally for drying my cachemire jumpers
The main issue with AEG and Electrolux dryers is the fact that they don't have the extra sponge filter in front of the evaporator, which causes them to get blocked with compacted lint after some time. I'm surprised that you went with this brand. I hope it will work great, and cause you no issues!
Thanks! The lack of filter does concern. I’ve taken to hoovering the exposed heat exchanger grille but I guess that won’t get the bits trapped further back. If I get 4 years out of this I’ll be happy!
@@sabistar44trust me, this dryer will get you out 4 years! You will be satisfied with it. I have mine for 5 years now and I never had any problems with it and still don’t.
Have you had a F20 errorcode on the W1? I had it on mine and I lost the energy usage indicator too! Clear the errorcode memory/history in service mode and the indicator comes back! 😊

and than theres me, that i have an electrolux perfect care 900 that produce this aeg to and they are the same machine, that heating a lot in every cycle they changed mother board and a lot of sensors and bearing very noisy and i want to buy a bosch or a miele because is fast drying have delicate cycle that really put down the temp.... the only good about this electrolux is mix xl cycle that i don't even know if aeg have, and you can dry6kg of mix at really 45 degrees i test with a thermometer inside, and the compressor go on and off when raise 45 temp, when off obviously release all the warm steam on clothes and that make them became very soft and not wrinkled, but take to long like 2.20h for a full load! i think im gona take a new series bosch series 6 that have sheet cycle very often inverted rotation delicate option that put down the temperature and 9 levels of humidity 3 plus 3level of each ones!
I hope you can show us the other programs like cotton or bedding:) Do you like the AEG ? More than the Miele? I think the Miele is faster and he emitts less moisture. But the programmes from my old protex are useful.
witch cycle and option using for mix load? i use mix xl in the compared electrolux same of this with 3d scan 63db and A efficienzy condensing class, 9kg A+++ that is for 6 kg but extra dry seems that they came a littl e dump and 50 degrease celsius so a little strinkage any way, if i live middle dry half sun they still dump... im disappointend and yes is not 63 db at all, i have a beko that is 64db and is much more silence than this 63db
tryed a coup,e of time this cycle and never more, 2 hours for a couple of woollen and they came out dumb and all wrinked! noway, i put them flat on the hang drier and in 2 hours they are dry naturally!
what about the miele dryer? i have an electrolux same of this with plus the mix xl program that is the most worthing and used program because the compressor goes on and of once it reach 45 degrease, and is the only one that use low temp, the other sintetic or delicate the more still on the more heat up until 64 degrease so strink everythings and sucks! used a couples of times the wool program in electrolux and in the beko that is the same cycle and woollen approven too, but they go for 2 and more hours and the think still dump, if you hang them to dry after 2 hour and a half they gona be dry so make no sense at all
My Miele dryer died - the PCB went. I was disappointed, so tried a different brand. I have to say, no regrets so far. I'm pleased with this AEG, it dries much faster. Just wish it had a low heat option for cottons or timed drying.
@@sabistar44 time dry, and delicate and mix they say is low heat but like i sayd our electrolux that make the dryer for aeg they are the same in everythings, they just heat up the more is on the more heat so fordelicate stuff they set less time fornot make sure to not eat to much!

On the official AEG store you can order a filter thats made for putting before the condensor, so you avoid it to get blocked over time.

I'm in the market for a Tumble Dryer. It's between Miele and AEG for me. You'll probably recommend the AEG over the Miele given your experience.
Yes, and if you want fast drying and quiet operation, you can't go wrong.

How is the reservation function on the duvet program, the same as on the bedding program?
Can’t you put the detergent in the softner compartment and select capdosing ? Since the cap for woolens also contains just wool detergent?
How many decibels does the dryer operate at?

This AEG is definitely faster than my old Miele - sometimes by up to 1 hr! I like it very much - no ticking noise either :)

As for you, miele passion is really the best washer ? It's quiet or not ? Thx 🙏
Its good - but I think my last W1 was better. The build quality seems different to the W1 chrome edition. Noise is good - the motor is quiet.
Hi, in what sense you mean this one, the W1 Passion, falls behind your previous model
could you do a update review on Miele a
It's coming in 2099
