I am constantly surprised by the amount of Special edition cb400's in Australia considering they were only released in Japan and only 500 were made in that colour.
as an owner of a special edition cb400 here in the uk I know that 500 were made each production year so there are a few thousand out there but still a rare colour. Personally I don't like the red frame
Funny i came across a vid in Adelaide. Youve probably seen my cb400 round Adelaide. I love it to death and will probably keep it forever. If youre in Adelaide still, we should go for a ride sometime. cool vids btw
Thanks mate, we loved the CB400, they are a tonne of fun these things, they are punchy as for a 400 and super smooth and you become so confident on one almost instantly, we actually use it as a bench mark for any similar naked style bike and can't recommend it highly enough! Can someone please put up a video of putting the seat back on? As I took mine off and when I have put it back on it is still a bit wobbly. All of the clips look like they are going in the right place, there must be one thing that I am not doing right!
What year is this bike? Do they still produce 400 and 250cc 4 cylinder models outside of the Americas? I can only find late 1980s cbr250rr in Canada.....
Bobby Smith 2018 is latest model and produces an extra 2 hp (55 hp total ) and is 3kg lighter. They stopped importing to AU in 2015 ( probably cause the dollar is weaker )
Im interested in getting this bike as my first on my L's, but im tossing it up between it and the honda cb300f. For anyone that has ridden both, is the extra price worth it to buy the cb400 or should i just go for the cb300f?
mate ive got a cbr250r, so not a whole heap different to the cb300f, with essentially the same engine. its fun, but gutless, and I've already outgrown it. if i was a bit mire savvy when i started out i would have definitely bought one of these cb400s!
