i think games are allowed to be unbalanced if they don't seem to care, but the problem with this game is that they DO seem to care. They buff and nerf things to make the game "better" but the main problem i've noticed is that they don't seem to know HOW to balance the game.
Sukuna was the only character in the game who didn't have an 86% combo which made him objectively the worst character.
They gave him an R ability in the recent update and not only does adding it to a base combo (bringing the percentage down to 76%) still not kill, but you literally cannot use this R move in combos at all whatsoever because it doesn't hit off of a ragdoll unlike every other R move, meaning you can't use it as a combo ender, and it flings them back TREMENDOUSLY FAR so you can only use it as a combo ender...oh and they decreased the damage on dismantle for seemingly no reason.
Then they absolutely cooked dio and made his damage on par with pre and i guess post update sukuna, essentially making him a slightly better version of sukuna 😭
It's just insane because in a battlegrounds game, making characters unique does not involve making their damage better or worse. Doing that just directly makes those characters suck compared to the others who can easily do those 86% combos.
Like i said, balance does not have to be important.
Games can be fun and unbalanced.
Its just the fact that they're making an effort to balance it while seemingly not actually knowing what they're doing?
There is no reason sukuna should have a lower base form kill power than every other character in the game. Most of his kit is inconsistent and over is pretty sucky!
Cleave Grab has horrible range and considering the destructible environment, making him significantly less consistent on top of the fact that the knockback is REALLY FAR so against higher ping opponents you can't get the dash confirm.
Dismantle hits off the floor and can stomp confirm, but it often hits too far back to actually do that.
Cleave Dance can miss and doesn't combo confirm.
Because why not.
Meanwhile dios counter teleports to them and combo confirms ☠️
Literally the only good move sukuna has is the dash attack AND THATS IT.
Atleast dio having lower damage makes a lick of sense because his kit is amazing but sukuna literally sucks in every regard and they STILL NERFED SEVERAL THINGS ABOUT HIM.
TLDR; this games devs don't seem to know how to properly balance a game but they still attempt to do so, making it very agitating when they make the worst character in the game worse.

Katakuri is amazingly broken and i love it.
I feel like Sukuna's moveset looks extremely clean, and I don't find the damage to be detrimental enough to make him un-viable. I will say that I noticed Dio got nerfed to where his 3 move no longer extends into his 2 move, which does even the playing field

The problem with Realm Rampage is that it has no identity, so it can only be compared to whoever its copying (JJS+TSB), while JJS and TSB are original and can be avaliated with their own merits.
Also, it doesn't help that the Movesets are not unique. TSB and JJS has a decent variety of types of moves, but Realm Rampage 70% of the roster moveset is just grab moves again and again. It feels boring to play and its just a cheap way to design a character.
I love how they call strongest battlegrounds sweaty but the only thing they could think up for with Jjs is goofy lmao

I think the biggest issue with Realm Rampage is that it tried to combine The Strongest Battlegrounds with Jujutsu Shenanigans.
It makes for a game that isn't bad, but theres no reason for you to choose it over the other two. In JJS' case, the destruction and movement/parkour mechanics are nowhere near as smooth (both because its much more stiff, and because the addition of tsb-like movement hinders it rather than help it), and in the case of the strongest battlegrounds, the combat is also not as clean and nowhere near as balanced, since the game ended up rushed out.
Its neat, but i don't have fun playing it. I dont play TSB, but when i do, i still have fun (even if i dont like the gameplay out of personal preference)
In this game, it's just kind of boring after the first two hours.

To me, Realm Rampage kinda feels like the Potential Man for Battleground Games. It's good for now but has the potential to be top 3. They just need to update every weekend like JJS lol. I feel like the problem with Realm rampage is just every character feels the same all rounder and no uniqueness with their playstyle unlike JJS and TSB
For JJS there Gojo who the all rounder, Yuji the glass cannon rushdown character, Hakari the jack of all trades character, Megumi the zoner and Mahito being the wildcard
And in TSB there saitama the close ranged fighter, Garou the Iframes demon, Genos the run and gun, Sonic the fast rushdown character, metal bat being the all rounder anti-rgc rushdown character, Atomic samurai being the high mobility wildcard, tatsumaki being the passive zoner and suiryu being the all rounder
While in realm rampage every character has the same all rounder rushdown playstyle with 2 moves being good at close range while the other 2 being far range like tell me the difference between Sung Jin woo and Katakuri.

I really think its an above better rate with battlegrounds games, but the hype is kinda eh.
I mean, Realm Rampage literally combined all of the op villains and protagonists into 1 game, which is a cool concept.
I really do think that they need to extremely polish the combat system to be as same as Ki Battlegrounds (which is the same as TSB) to actually make it a great and fresh game with almost no combat flaws.
Also, the bugs are VERY annoying but it is to be expected in a released game.
If this game is polished even more, it can be better than JJS, but not TSB.
At this current state, it is better than Sorcerer Battlegrounds, on par with Heroes Battlegrounds (HB has better cutscenes) But needs far more improvements to even come close to JJS

I think ichigo should work special. For his ult, he should have a short lasting vizard that doesnt have s on activation. The ult lasts 15 seconds and if you die during it, no resseting you go into full hollowfication. From there it is very, very overpowered.

The game had issues and was bound to have issues even before it was released. It was never rushed out. It came out in a state where there was bound to be bugs. People don’t take into account the amount of players that just hop into a game all at once and just expect the game to run perfectly fine. It’s very ignorant of people. Games good and the combat feels fine. While it’s janky at times the devs said they would fix it all and did. Game feels way way better then when it did on release with its most recent update and that’s that
Finally someone who understands it’s a brand new game, nothing is perfect and it’s not always amazing at the start.
The problem is the youtubers talking about its bugs after they hate on it for having glitches. It doesn’t make sense? Doesn’t jjs have a few bugs or tsb or heroes battlegrounds have bugs? How is this game a problem for having lots if bugs that need fixes. The goku situation is because of the rush from fans and TH-camrs and tiktokers they don’t realize it hasn’t had enough time to get stuff like the reworks out yet so they decided to copy one or two characters from THEIR games into this new game.
There is such an amazing feature in this game that if runners got low and tried to run they will be slow because of their low health even if they tried to zipline away the zipline will make them slower to catch up with others easily

I honestly just like the base combat far more than JJS's combat. In JJS you're able to front dash people off of get up, and the block is pretty mid too. Other than that I think realm rampage could work on character diversity (they all have the same down-slam, ground-skill, front-dash combo start like c'mon.), as well as maybe some new combat mechanics other games haven't added yet to really differentiate themselves from other games.
Ima be honest it’s good it just needs polishing but when games realse they expect it too be perfect some times they just needa polish the main combat then the characters and how you combo and fight then they can work on different characters or mechanics

JJS came out with 2 characters. This game came out with 5.
And guess which game was more entertaining on release? JJS. Moves do too much damage, all of the characters have what is basically the same move which sends you backwards. Infinite combos are inavoidable since moves have a short cooldown. Destruction is mid at best, Ziplining is the most useless feature ever, it isnt even fun to ride on since you slow down when In combat. Even the Clashes dont feel good, Domain clashes only look cool and Interesting in a Tiktok video format, since you aren't the one pressing space.
the problem with the destruction is that its almost never used because the map is so large with the buildings spread out, unlike jjs
I suggest looking at rampant, its a type of game that you need to find the right weapon and style to fit the way you play, otherwise you won't enjoy it, i know you've looked into things like this alot already, but i'd appreciate it if you take it into consideration, although the game WILL piss you off in some specific points of play, also some parts can be pretty generic. (And yes, i expect you to read this.)
Personally I didn't like this game when it was in development because I thought that good graphics and jjs destruction don't work well together. But after playing it I started to enjoy it even more than some of my other favorite games on Roblox. I see a lot of potential in it and hope that the developer won't leave the game's creation.

In my opinion it is the best and most fun bg game out currently. The problems with ping, bugs, and balancing are most likely because the game just came out and Aspector was kind of rushed or release the game but the devs seem to be addressing all of the criticisms in the discord and fixing them.

For your opinion about the walls and ziplines you can't parkour if you're -50% hp and you can't use the ziplines if you're -30% and if you're above 30% you go slower than a full hp player depending on how low you are
It's too hard for a recent battlegrounds game to be considered better than the OG ones, all of it is the same thing as the OG ones except having different characters.
Just so yall know 7 out of the 8 attacks from one from the moveset's Attacks are from another game. (Note one thing i do like how after you do the funny Down slam from mid air you can snipe down people with a Fire arrow)

before the update i hated it so much cuz of the combat movement and balancing but now its actually pretty good.
In my opinion the game was fun for me someone who is trash at pvp for a bit but i knew it was cooked after it was released and TH-camrs were already posting 1 shot combos which made sweats flock now i cant play without dios or katakuris 1 comboing me if they nerf the combos it might be better
The game was pretty beginner friendly at first but that killed the skill gap and now the game is sorta in a rough spot as far as balancing
They removed most One shot combo's by nerfing the characters the only One shot combo's that are still in the game are not true

This game was a mixed bag for me.
1. Feels like it gets carried by "pretty" lights and looks ( dangling keys for toddlers but instead the toddlers are 10 and up ).
2. Balancing is thrown out the window since they fr just said, "if every character is busted people wont complain about any character being better than the rest!" ( Goku was left out of this though, he's by far the worst and it's only because he feels like an actually balanced character )
3. It feels like it introduceds a lot of mechanics but doesn't polish any of them. The dashes feel like ass and have some clunky ass hit registration.
4. The awakenings ight, they solid that's all I gotta say for that. They make you feel like you actually AWAKEN and draw out more power.
5. The game was fun with friends but that's just a given for any game not just this one.
6. As stated in the video a lot of the characters just feel the same to play though since they often have the same combo extenders and combos. (Dio and shadow monarch feel like the exact same character and both have busted ahh moves that hit while you're downed, aka THEIR WHOLE MOVE KIT)

Realm Rampage doesn't really have a style. Or charm. Or anything cooler than anyother game we could be playing. It's decent. But like. In some areas it just feels lazy, like- why is Ki Goku here? And why does he STILL have no finisher for Meteor Blow?

Honestly the only thing I dislike about it is how poorly optimized it is. Like I see a video from Fade (as an example) doing a cool combo, and then I go in a server to try and replicate it and I can't because of hitbox bs or lag from the other person (The things that were talked about in this video are also part of the problem)

Everything this game does is amazing except a few things
M1 dashing and blocking is HORRID it feels like a bad imitation of TSB’s combat.
Most characters are Copy’s of each other with down slam combos and extenders (vid alr talks about it)
Copying moves some moves has it that you needed to down slam an opponent and then use a move to send them back less far so you can combo extend. Sounds real familiar to *hunters grasp* four out of the five playable characters have a hunters grasps copy move.
Bugs(yea not much to say)
Overall the game is trying to do everything, but half ass on the more important part like combat, combos, and bug.
It’s kinda of a “eh” but it’s better then jjs because jjs combat is messy as hell and has so many shakes that half the time u don’t what ur doing while realm rampage has not that many shakes and the destruction isn’t that messy jjs is kinda more clunky ur right about that
6:40 it's basically all the moves from ki Battlegrounds. I just wish that a dragon ball Battlegrounds game could have the spotlight for once.
They need to make the wall thicker 😭I don’t want a wall just collapsed after some dash
Right now RR is kinda not fun, but clearly they have a lot prepared as seen from the unreleased sneaks, so updates should come pretty fast😊
