I also find it telling that out of the 3 of them, Cole brings up the subject and talks about being the best, the most, in his music. It was almost like he was consumed with it. Yo I don’t know how many people are going to relate to this but here it goes. I remember back in the day when everyone use to roast each other. You had some guys in the circle who use to rank so good, he’d apologize and say, “I’m just messing you”, because he noticed how mad the other guy was probably getting. It’s not even about the jokes, it’s more about the instigators that were hyping it up more than what it really was. I’ve see plenty of fights due to the actions of an instigator. In my opinion J. That’s a good point. The problem is that most people didn’t feel that Cole “got on Kendrick so bad”. Most people thought it was a bad diss because of the cap bars. The cap bars wouldn’t have been so bad if Cole himself believed them. Those bars sounded like something Drake would say not Cole. If he had better delivery it would’ve been received better but you could hear how conflicted Cole was. Cole is more of a “if imma compete let’s get on the same song and see who’s better” guy not a “let’s put out a diss and see who did better” guy. It was a losing battle from the jump.
