sorry for any audio issues on this video. I couldn't use the screen recording audio from the video or my microphone so had to use my camera audio. enjoy the video.
This show has so many great lines, i wish these compilations people make had more variety. Peg: "I see myself more in a jaguar" Al: "Oh, if only we could find one that hungry"
Married With Children is one of the greatest sitcoms of all time! There's no way it could be made nowadays. Too many people would be triggered and outraged. Al Bundy is a legendary character.
He says what all retail workers wish they could say, but instead have to swallow their words and just smile at the customer. That is why we appreciate and laugh at his words, it is almost hero worship because we wish we could do the same thing without getting fired.
2:10 I forgot Dan Castellaneta (Homer Simpson) did a cameo on Married, although it makes sense Al Bundy is the original "zero fucks given" spokesman lol
The show is excellent and you really need to see the complete episodes. There is much more to Al than his witty insults. The other characters are great as well.
check out " unhappily ever after "all the mwc writers started it after mwc ended . its pretty good , not mwc , but def worth watching, has bobcat goldwaith and nikki cox
Georgia, you said once that your dad likes it when you play the Al Bundy clips, because when he was younger he loved watching the series. THEREFORE you should buy the DVDs of Al's complete shows. You dad gets a present, but you get a many-week supply of his shows. There's a whole lot more to M.W.C. that just these out-takes. Nothing ever goes correctly for Al. He's behind the world's biggest supply of "8 Balls."
Al just says what is on his mind. That is what makes his character great. I wish sometimes i could say half the things that are on my mind or bothering me but unfortunately i have a house to pay for. 😆😆😆
Best job I had was working as a telephone technician at Columbia Studios where they taped MWC for the first 10 seasons until they moved to Sony Studios for season 11
If possible, try to watch "Married With Children" with the original music background. For copyright reasons, they replaced much of the original music with some generic crap on a DVD release of the show; also, a few scenes were censored for reasons of political correctness, unfortunately. It might still be possible to find the original unaltered episodes; I hope so. A great quote is when Al is talking with some guy on the phone, and Peg is listening: Al: "Now Jim, when you insult my wife, you don't hurt me." Peg: "What did he say about me?" Al: "Nothing I haven't said myself." [Those are probably not the exact words, but as best as I can remember.]
That’s okay! And oh it’s totally my fault, I didn’t know what mkd was and it said 250 and I took that as £250 and so I thought you had accidentally sent like way too much to me but again thanks so much for the donation! It’s much appreciated😊!!!
@@GeorgiaLikeBaker I thought I was the only one who could see mkd 😂 I thought for you it would be in your currency. By the way I would send that much if only I could afford it 😂😊
I would LOVE to see you react to proper episodes of this show. Nobody does that, it's just the same compilations. While those are very funny, they only scratch the surface.
If no one else has suggested this to you, then please let me be the first. You should ABSOLUTELY start reacting to "Cyanide and Happiness" animated compilations. If you love Al Bundy, you will love Cyanide and Happiness too. I promise you!
Definitely find full episodes, and also look for “fat lady walked into the shoe store today” jokes by now. They used to be a compilation of them on here, but I can’t find it now. There are a few at the beginning of a video called something like “Double 0 Shoe - Al Bundy.”
The guy that comes to the door and informs al that his husband is having an affair with his husband. That’s the voice of Homer Simpson. Dan Casteletta.
The audio was just fine Georgia. Stop fretting about it. If you can track down a full series of AL I highly recommend. You’ll Love it. None stop sarcasm. It’s FAF🪂. .
Yes, you should watch the series. I always thought Ed O’neill was underrated as an actor. I always liked characters who could just rant unfiltered and be funny, like Dr Cox from Scrubs or Ted Danson as Dr Becker in Becker. This show was goundbreaking because it debuted in the 80s and there was nothing else like it on tv it was on the brand new Fox network, which was basically this show and The Simpsons. Family sitcoms at the time were all non offensive cookie cutter shows and this show drew lots of criticism and calls for boycotts from religious and family groups.
I don’t understand why all the compilation videos for Al Bundy all include the same clips. The show went 11 seasons with 259 episodes. There are so many of Al’s best moments that you could make an hour long compilation and still be leaving a lot out.
Georgia, I said before I love it when women like MWC! I'm one of the co-hosts of the Married with Children Podcast, and I'm working on a side-cast project where I get input from only women, about the show. Curious if I can play a clip from one of your vids? Or better yet - get you in to record something especially. :)
Not the right clip but I had thought to share, which is maybe in a lot of place the ladies are sizes 4,5,6. In some places though, you’re gonna be 7,8,9. Nothing wrong with it, it’s happened to me when it comes to athletic wear.
They don't really show British classic tv here in America. We have a channel called BBC America. Many years ago they used to air a show I liked watching. I'm not sure of the name of it but it had Hyacth (sp?) Buckette and everyone would call her Mrs Bucket. She really enjoyed trying to be posh and it would embarass the heck out of her husband. I also thought about this show when watching your road rage reaction video because they had those country roads. And in the show she'd always back seat the way her husband drives on them..."Mind the pot hole" ... yes dear...
I’m just being pedantic, but it’s Hyacinth Bouquet. Pronounced boo Kay. I’m surprised an American would like it but am pleased you did. All the best. 🇬🇧🇺🇸👈👍
You should check out “Jeeves and Wooster”, a different type of British humor; starring a younger Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry. All the episodes are on TH-cam.
Yes it was. MWC was one of the first shows on the fledging FOX network, another being the Tracy Ullman show which was the origin of the Simpsons, using her cast as voice actors for what started as shorts between skits. Then in '89 they gave The Simpson's their own show. In the beginning, you'd see the same faces on many of the FOX shows.
@@jartstopsign In that case, the known actress I saw interviewed and demonstrated her flawless Homer was lying. Just Googled. Looks like I was misinformed. I’m incorrect. Thank you for the info mate.
Couple fun facts. When you get excited, you talk faster and faster. :-) You can get the Married With Children complete series on DVD for less that 50 pounds on Amazon. 34 DVDs. It is worth the money.
I'd love to see a full episode; the video always ends when I'm just getting into it. I suggest the earlier seasons. He's less cartoonish, but just as funny.
You should take a look at 'Mad TV' and 'In living Color' as well. Two skit shows from the 90s that were completely hilarious and would in no way, shape or form be allowed on television today due to the fun police being out in full force.
Please do watch the show as complete episodes. But with like 11 seasons, start chronologically. There was a shift along the way, major characters left, new one brought in, even another kid. Start with season one.
that new kid is only in the first half of season 7, and all those episodes can be easily skipped...... next to Scrappy-Doo, that kid has to be one of the most hated characters on tv, EVER!
@@chrismeulen8108 Maybe cousin Oliver on the Brady Bunch comes close. Bringing in a new kid when the original kids age out of their "cuteness" never works.
Dude! Just sell her the 5 so you can make the sale and get her out of the store! The shoes not fitting her feet will forever be HER problem! NOT yours! Why does Al put SO much unnecessary work in on an hourly job trying to act as a politically incorrect public servant? Oh... right. It's TV... and comedy requires it. But real life though...
Compilation videos work best for short comedy skit shows, rather than episodic sit-coms, wherein a bit more context is often important to the humour, imho.
