Just started playing singleplayer campaign yesterday. Heard it was a bit underrated so I decided to check it out. I was also able to remove the 30fps cap so I'm playing it in 60 fps now and it's running well so far.

For some sound differences that are pretty noticable, it doesn't only depend on the games, it is also because every year cars are having some changes in real life too, for example new exhaust systems, so maybe that's why the games have so many big difference to each other, every game changes its sounds depending on the real life changes

While you’re at it buy a PS3 or Xbox 360 and buy a copy of Need for Speed Pro Street. Then go play Need for Speed Heat and experience the customization that game offers. It definitely isn’t like Need for Speed Payback and that’s a good thing. Every Need for Speed game has hit and missed some things. Need for Speed Heat has the best sounds when going through a Tunnel. Could the vehicles sound better? Sure they could. There isn’t a Need for Speed game that got all of the vehicle sounds perfected. The fun in these games comes from racing, getting new vehicles, and customizing them down to every little detail. I’d say if a new Need for Speed were made it should be a mix of the Underground titles and Carbon with police like Most Wanted (2005) and atmospheric sounds like the tunnels, the way the Turbo sounds, and the burnout sounds in Need for Speed Heat. They could also take the car getting destroyed at night time off the table because that shit is stress inducing and instead let us see visual damage that may change how the vehicles sound and let us repair that damage at gas stations as well as our safe houses. That paired with a story that blends the best story elements from Carbon to Most Wanted (2005) including the blacklist, the most wanted list, and more cops in pursuit in certain areas like on highways would be excellent. I’m a fan of the spike strips when police are on your tail and you have a high enough heat level in heat. I also like how they bring out corvettes, Rhinos, and Helicopters. The problem is that the cops are too aggressive. There are no more roadblocks anymore outside of the spike strips you might see. I miss being able to crash dead on into a few cop cars right between the two and hit the nitrous to go full speed and escape the cops using pursuit breakers. It’s Need for Speed not Gran Turismo or Forza.

In my opinion, Rivals has nice atmosphere and game balance, 2015 has most realistic graphics, payback has best physics of PS4 or Xbox one’s NFS, And Heat has most difficulty, and nice map as MW2012.
Pay back was such a let down I was even stupid enough to buy the deluxe edition .. heat was better but it can use some Improvement . It’d be nice to see a MW remake or underground 1 or 2 forsure!
2015 especially because its always night time, the game only rendered what near you so there its alot more details, but if you made the game brighter then the game is full of muddy textures if it was a little far than where you are.
Maybe cuz you don't know how to judge graphics. Indeed new ones look visually worse but they are realistic and created a sim environment (payback and heat) while older ones looked good for their arcadic feel with all reflections and extra reflective street lights (Rivals and NFS 15)
@@SMC_Dev yes but look at games like Rocksteady's Batman games. Like Arkham Knights. I know the games are making it more realistic but they shouldn't forget graphics.

They just need NFS MW (2005), NFS Carbon, Underground 1, & 2 for Remake instead of remastered, so they can throw in new additions to those game of year, games. Also they need to put 4 players split screen local, & add in CO-OP missions.

i'm sorry but what the fuck is wrong with all the games excluding rivals. the mustang sounds so beefy in rivals which is what it's meant to be and meanwhile the others sound like they tried to make it sound as weak as possible

I agree payback was a let down.. 😒😒 I thought there was a most wanted remake in 2012? Looked rubbish in my opinion though.
