Loved the look you achieved with this palette - can't wait to try it. I have worn Sheisedo Foundation for many years - it was my 'go-to' before Lingerie de peau. Can't wait to hear about a new foundation from them. I do regularlyI still use the Sheisedo Benefience day and night moisturizers - and have for over fifteen years. They make wonderful products.

Use light colors to bring forward what you want to bring forward and dark colors what you want to recede-you might want to Google tutorials for deep set eyes.

relatively easy for me to do - I think! I am going to invest in this palette in the spring. I am the wrong side of 40 and deserve a treat - not sure if it's phycological but it will make me feel good using it so I'll be halfway there and with your guidance I should come off ok 😄

Yes and no...if you're a matte fanatic, then yes. If not, then maybe try the It Cosmetics palettes or even a drug store one first and see if you use it before you jump up to this one.
Just wanted to mention that Eco Tools (which is low price point but very good brushes!) has a very similar brush to that Walmart one you used. I will see if mine still has the name or number on it for you guys :)

Love how simple this was and just looks so beautiful. I am pretty excited this year for Xmas Im going to be surprised with either the Viseart dark Matte or this palette. Its been well over a year and the hype is still real. Since I cant swatch this anywhere Im going off all my trusted youtubers stamp of approval on this gift. Last year it was the Kevyn Aucoin contour book and I honestly dont pull that palette out nearly as much as it should be. Maybe you can get yours out and give me an inspirational tutorial boost...wink wink ;) ps... love the earrings

I love this look. I am really bad at applying eyeliner. I finally found a mascara that makes me look like I am wearing it. It is YSL baby doll mascara. Does any one know a drug store dupe for this one? It is really pricey.
The Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye Contour Palette has almost duplicate colors and is a bit cheaper. I liked the Kat Von D one better.

Marnie, Is it just me or do you think the palette is really chalky?
At first I wasn't sure how I felt about the palette, but the more I use it the more I like it. They are just very different from shimmer shades.
Liked the finished look, but it looked as if you were having trouble blending these colors. If so, then the price tag is much too high! Pretty look, but agree that a bit of shimmer is always a good look!
