I can, IJN destroyers usually run fragile threat which means it has less hitpoints than base, he had a reload booster ready and the Kleber has the biggest guns on any destroyer at the tier(139mm). But still that was a quick death for the Yudachi lol.
Eh. Yudachi probably has the lowest HP pool of any T7 dd, so it’s really not that surprising. Imagine it were a Fletcher, Z-23, or Tashkent instead. Much more HP to take away. One reload booster probably isn’t going to dumpster one of those, but it would certainly make them think twice about picking a fight.

The French ships on PC (at least from Fantasque up) all get 4 Reload Boosters per battle, BASE.... and can take Superintendent/ Fully Packed for +1, to 5 ! Even with Legends only having 15 minute battles instead of PC’s 20, we really should be getting 2-3 Boosters, BASE... not the measly 1 they have them at... if you CC’s can persuade the Devs to boost (at least Kleber) to 2 or 3, that’d be “tres bien !”
Dang that turning circle is no joke! Do you find the spot drop time of 4ish seconds makes a difference to use him as an inspiration? Or is it just a nice bonus to have under its base trait?
Well this was coming and one of the CC's claimed Le Fantasque was outperforming the Yudachis (Fantasque's torps WERE just as fast with better range and reload) and WG can't allow a tech tree ship to be better than a Premium.
The official stance is that Le Fantasque was over-performing. I don’t have access to their data, so I have no idea if that’s the case. But the nerf and the officially stated reason, coupled with the introduction of this ship with the stats it has, does lend a fair amount of plausibility to the idea that they nerfed it because they thought the torpedo stats were more appropriate for a legendary tier destroyer. I don’t think that’s the case, though. I think WG is being honest about their reasons for nerfing Le Fantasque. Granted that they were being honest, my only question is what are the standards that they use to determine a ship is over-performing? Is it the case that Le Fantasque was over-performing because it was overpowered, or is it the case that it was over-performing because it’s a strong ship in a ship line that has a higher skill floor than other dd lines, and therefore players with higher skill levels tend to play it and tend to get results consonant with a higher than average skill level?

WG had this same problem in Tanks...the Czech mediums were very hard to play, so only good players played them, and the results indicated "overperformance"...the nerf bat came out twice on those, THEN (starting to sound familiar?), a special premium came out, offering the same gun system...but at pre-nerf levels...so if you wanted it back, you had to buy the premium... I've been very pleased with this dev team, so I'm not going to knock them too bad...
Seems a little counter intuitive to spec for the guns yet use them sparingly while mainly using the torps. I'll likely stick with my Aboyneau stealth/torp build for this as well (his base trait boosts HE dmg too) though if you want to go full gunboat you can try Dufornet (French Dewey) as he can provide a second reload booster if you use fully packed.
Possibly. Basically I wouldn’t use Aboyneau’s torpedo reload skill, since fully maxed it cuts down on gun reload by 10%. 7 seconds is already very long. Don’t wanna hurt it more. And his other unique torpedo skill increases torp range at the expense of gun range. Don’t wanna do that either. Thus, I would choose precisely the same skills on either commander, aside from the skill in the 4th row. And Violette’s base trait is, I think, slightly more useful than the extra HE damage. But I recognize Aboyneau is probably gonna be the more popular choice and, if you want to go full stealth/torpedo build, then he is the better choice. But I don’t want to do it. Also, I do have it specced mostly for torps. I don’t have it really specced for guns aside from the Sidestep skill.

I grinded the fantastic and then they do this. They knew this ship was coming out so they nerfed mine to make this one look better.
