- In this video, we're excited to introduce some of the new features coming in the Winter '25 Release. We'll be showcasing the Action Button in Salesforce Flow, which allows you to create flows with drag-and-drop components - no coding required! We'll also walk you through creating a search function using both an auto-launched Flow and a Screen Flow.

Salesforce is a customer relationship management solution that brings companies and customers together. It's one integrated CRM platform that gives all your departments - including marketing, sales, commerce, and service - a single, shared view of every customer.
Thank you so much for updating. It's so valuable.
Long awaited feature
Very cool! I like the narration too.
Amazing.
Thank you for sharing.
I'm sure this would have its own use case but isn't lookup component doing this job already.
Good question! The lookup component lets a user search for and select one or more records in a Flow. It doesn't provide any search functionality besides searching for lookup records.
Help me understand why you would want to build this. Why don't you just use the existing search bar?
Great question! Yes, we do have global search available, but this Flow component can be added to Experience Cloud Community pages. Record pages can be invoked from the List View/Quick action, as well as from Aura/LWC. They can also be used to add business logic; for example, if you wanted to delete all the contacts that match a search criteria.
Also, we could use this feature as an alternative of showing search results with different columns from the Global search, in case of specific requirements
What if I want to search on more than name
Great question for the Trailblazer Community!
