- A review of the Winmau Mervyn King Gold 22g darts, 90% tungsten gold nitride coating.
An unusual shaped dart but I found them to be surprisingly comfortable to hold and they flew much better than I was expecting. I don't usually like darts with a scallop but there is something very nice about these. I also love the feel of the gold ti coating, I think it enhances the grip too. Great review Darren. I wish I had been playing darts when these beauties were available. I've got a set of the naturals in 24 grams on the way, I can't wait to give 'em a throw.

Nice one, they are a dart that surprised me at how well they flew, there is a few darts that I look at sometimes and think that will never suit me but upon trying them its nice to be surprised :)
TELL ME ABOUT IT, I ended up with 21g Priestleys, 22g Kings, 23g Burnetts, 23g Snakebite 8`s, 23g Lewis`s, 20g Websters, 21g Hankeys, and my lad ended up with 22g O`Shea`s, 22g Target Taylor 95s, 21g Van Gerwens, and recently 22g Whitlocks !!!
I have a set of these darts too mate. I find they throw very flat? Grip is good. Overall decent dart
Yeah I liked them a lot more than I thought I would, I thought the weird shape would be too strange but it all depends where your fingers sit I guess :)

Just managed to pick up a set online for £25! How much do you think they’d be worth today?
No idea, like many darts they are only worth what someone is happy to pay for them, as you paid £25 then they are likely not worth much more, will depend on many things like condition, demand etc.
I wish I could buy these for £25 today :/

Can't find these anywhere there extinct in gold I would be willing to but if you were willing to sell
+Azazel_9876 They must have stopped making the gold, just had a quick search and could not find any either but the set I reviewed was given away in the forum as a comp prize, if I happen to find any I will let you know :)

to be honest we have bought a couple of different sets off your reviews.
Its addictive though, I even buy darts I know wont work but still have to have them, the Robert Wagner darts are one set I got recently, they are rear weighted which does not work for me.
