BSA Bantam D14/4 175 short test ride ends with loss of drive to rear wheel, fix found and discussed.

After attending to some basics and some other, not so basic issues to get this machine running and moving under its own power, it became apparent that there was a clutch and transmission problem and complete loss of drive to the rear wheel before we reached home. The reason can be seen towards the end of this clip.
