I tried beach curl as a last minute install before a trip. The plan was to take it out in two weeks but I ended up keeping it for 5 weeks. I can count on my hand the number of times I actually did maintenance on the hair yet it still looked good.
OMG, Lia, I have been checking back NON-STOP over the past couple of weeks waiting for this review... and I'm so excited that I caught it JUST as you uploaded it!! You hair looked so FREAKING good and held up so FREAKING well in Puerto Rico, that I broke the "rules" and ran out and purchased the beach curl and installed it the day before yesterday without your final verdict. BUT, I did have a heads up when it was "best saved for last" on your beach friendly video. Beach curl is most definitely the best crotchet hair. I never had any issues and the only breathable hair I can wear 4 weeks with minimal tangles.

I sooooo love this hair. I'm about to have it installed for my live recording with my group. This hair looks so amazing on camera and in video. Yes, the 12inch is my go to next to Lulutress Island twist. This beach curl style is ❤. I had to watch this video again as I was trying to see which hair to go with. Freetress beach curl is still tops for me and 2nd gogo curl which can be high maintenance. Beach curl is low maintenance with Hawaiian silky.

Thank you for this review. I just spoke with my daughter who is at the beauty supply store. She is panicking about what hair to buy and asked about beach curl. Since I never used the beach curl, I did a search and found your video. I told her to buy 6 packs, but I will be sure to use only 3-3.5 packs. This will be perfect.

Just went to the beauty supply and picked up 3 packs of this hair. I still have a pack from the last time I did this and I have a half pack of gray for some pop. I also picked up 6 packs of Lulutress Island Twist. I'm gonna try that before I redo the beach curl. Girl I will post if I like it.

This hair looks great on you! I tried Freetress Beach Curl in color 30. It looked too fake. I like to use lighter colors, so I don’t have to damage my hair with permanent hair color. It was high maintenance. I always had to detangle it. It’s a no for me. Perhaps lighter colors are the problem like you said in another video. I’m glad you had fun in Puerto Rico; it’s on my bucket list.

Have you mixed different cursl? I found in Pinerest an style where mixed a closed curls in brown and at the top of head number 30 and 27 but a loose curl.
I haven’t had crochet hair in years. I’m definitely trying this beach curls for my Vegas trip in June. The only thing is I don’t think I have anyone to braid my hair so we shall see if I can do it. 😅
Not sure if I heard you in this one or previous video, after getting the hair wet…did you let the hair/your hair underneath air dry or did you use a blow dryer?
I just installed the 18 inch today. I like it so far. The store I went to had 12 and 18 available. I got in the pool, but did not wet it……YET. I’m going to a wedding on Friday and I’m nervous, but come Saturday all bets are off, and I will be getting it drenched!
