Matthew 15:24 is often misunderstood or misinterpreted.
In this verse, Jesus is responding to a Canaanite woman who has asked Him to heal her daughter, who is possessed by a demon. The woman is not Jewish, but a Gentile (non-Jewish person), and Jesus' initial response may seem harsh or exclusive. But remember, He allows the woman to speak her peace, and He never corrects her in front of the crowd. Jesus often spoke in parable to allow the people around him to see the bigger picture. So He allowed her to teach the crowd.
Jesus' statement is not meant to exclude Gentiles or imply that He didn't care about them. Rather, He was stating that His primary focus was on the Jewish people at that time, who were the recipients of God's covenant and promises, where He came to fulfill that covenant.
But since you're cherry picking, why stop there? Finish the chapter. Matthew 28:18-20), Jesus gives His disciples instructions to go and make disciples of all nations, demonstrating His intention to include Gentiles in His kingdom. Why ignore some of Matthew and only cherry pick a single verse?

If it was like this no one will go because we're all guilty of sin. That's why Jesus came. He lived the life we should have lived. Never sinned. And chose death and used his life as a ransom for us. Then he rose from the dead, meaning that not only he was sinneless. If he was sinful he'd still be dead. But his payment for our lives was accepted. Remember, Jesus was already in Heaven and only came down to rescue us.
So now there's two ways to get into Heaven.
Either
1. We live a perfect life like Jesus did. Knowing that 1 sin and your off.
2. if we can't, we need to accept Jesus as our mediator, our lawyer, and accept the penalty he paid for our lives.

Which is why we have verses like charity forgives many sins, it's in regards to our prosise of reward. @@tyvsty OK my apologies I misunderstood your position. I often hear things like "We can't keep the law" and people demonize the law of God. Then when I ask them what the law of Christ is I never get a clear answer of what it means to love from biblical stand point. Again, my apologies.

We can walk perfectly through faith in Christ but we need understand of what that is. Below are some examples that don't necessarily mean they have never sinned but can still walk perfect before God. But we gotta know what that really means.
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Not sure where you reside but I'm sure your land has laws and statutes and I imagine you're not getting fined everyday or incarcerated so are you breaking laws everyday? Anyways, Jesus kept the law and encouraged the jews to listen to the scribes and pharasees to observe and do what they say BUT don't copy what they do because they were all talk and no walk (read Matt 23). Also Paul kept the law (read Acts 21). Now, they did only command gentiles to abstain from 4 things but there was a reason for this, and if you read Revelations and of course prior passages you realize they are essentially saying abstain from pagan practices. There was nothing wrong with striving to keep the law, the issue was doing it with the intent of replacing the sacrifice of christ when instead we should be doing it because of out faith in him we are at liberty to continue in these things without the burden. Also in romans Paul tells you that our faith does not Nullify the law but we establish it.

I'm trying to understand that when veil was torn and Jesus became our high priest and mediator of the new covenant, what from the Mosaic law (God's law given to Moses as the mediator) no longer applies? For example Christ became our atonement for our sins but what else is done away with? Murder? Fornication? Eating blood? Having sex with animals? I always say what I was taught in hermeneutics class: read above and below the verse for context. Read the whole pericope and note the title of the pericope. Read the chapter the verse is in as well as the chapter before it and after. READ THE WHOLE BOOK TO GET THE WHOLE CONTEXT. My pastor says the three keys to understanding scripture are Context,context, CONTEXT. Keep up the good work.
I am sad the interaction stopped where it did , I don't think KP realised what a gem he had in his hand from the LORD to help expose falsehood . All the patience and work was paying off , when a liar begins to hang himself with such obvious error you don't just walk away and let him hang there . Lol. I think the reason they offer sacrifices is because the Jews were still zealous of the law and participating in what does not take away from Christ's sacrifice. For example if you read Acts 21 I believe Paul participates in vow and they conclude with an offering. It does not mention what the offering was but we can assume based on the details of the vow that it was some sort of meat offering perhaps?

He was dressed in the frail and all that, it wasn’t hard to guess what he believed in basically..I questioned him about his beliefs because apparently, salvation is only for black people, so I pointed to John 3:16, which is basically a Sunday school level of understanding that even children can get, yet, for him, the phrase “For God so loved the WORLD, he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish”, didn’t mean the entire WORLD. He went scrambling and insisted it was really only the black people of the world. 🤨🥴😵💫

I will say this though, we have to becareful of how we treat certain words because om the surface it sounds one thing but it's not that. Example if I say to a group of people "everyone is invited to my place after" is it right to assume I mean literally everyone in the world? If I say this world has gone mad, does it mean literally everyone in the world is mad? These are things to consider when we read the Bible. I say this because I have found lately that alot of what I thought meant one thing did not mean that at all or it was close but not exactly that. That is dangerous because we build our world view on information we receive and process. Remember these are translations, which leads to the true saying "things get lost in translation " meanings get lost. I personally try to be fair to the text because it's easy to get caught up in pride and defending a belief that may not necessarily be true but the opposing argument affects your reality. Everyone should be quick to hear but slow to speak and hear the whole matter first before jumping the gun. So if someone opposes your belief don't be quick to agree with them but consider researching if your position is in fact correct, then get some others to fact check your information like a peer review and see what makes most sense with everyone in context of what was written from genesis to Revelations.

@Contendformyfaith That's exactly what they sometime argue. I have had them tell me Paul was a liar or he was deceitful in his writings when they can't contradict Paul's writings. Yes they go there when you pressure them.
