I just bought the Passion in Paris when I discovered it in a drugstore while visiting my family, saved me the shipping cost. :) I think, Bh is my current favourite in terms of eyeshadow formula together with Kaleidos. Their shadows are pigmented, but still easy to blend and their shimmers don't leave a "glitter bukake", as Theresa is dead likes to put it, on my face.
The Sweet Shoppe mattes are some of my top favs of all time. 😭 They're so ridic good. I think only surpassed by Shroud and Kaleidos..? But pretty on-par with Oden's Eye, IMO. I like Glamlite's formulas, too, but I'm upset at how often they're legit duping themselves. Not buying anymore of their palettes until they stop duping their own shades, and naming them something else. And I am NOT against rainbow palettes! Hell, make 10 different rainbow palettes, if you want, just make them in different tones. Do everything from pastel rainbow to pastel bright rainbow to true bright rainbow to grungy rainbow to dark rainbow. As long as I don't keep getting the same yellow, the same red, the same brick orange, the same magenta, the same purple and blurple, I will keep buying palettes from them. And I already have a LOT. 😣 But if they keep releasing the exact same shades in new palettes... I'm gonna vote against it, with my wallet. 😒

It’s so interesting how I prefer the party in Puerto Rico quality over the passion in Paris! My hubby is Puerto Rican and was confused by the color story. Our issue is that one of the names is isla verde which means green island like what???? Whereeee is the green?

You would probably like "the blends" palette by blend bunny cosmetics. It is an all matte rainbow palette (yaeh I know, this again), that goes from very light to very deep and blends really great (hence the name). Hefty shipping to the EU though (almost givemeglow level).
Totally loved and agreed with your opinion regarding the criticism of the color story for the party in Puerto Rico palette / any travel palette. No one will ever be happy with a color story chosen because color stories and countries are just too complex and abstract to ever be perfectly done in everyone’s opinion!
I bought Passion in Paris from you recommendations, I adore this palette too. I have also Smitten in Switzerland which I also love. Two-three years ago bh cosmetics was sort of surpass, but now it is indeed kicking it out of the park.

I didn’t realize we are the same age. I thought you were so much younger than me. Like late 20s or VERY early 30s. However, that’s just another reason I love you so much. I love bold, bright, colorful eyeshadows and I always think I dress and wear makeup that’s too youthful for me, but you constantly remind me that makeup doesn’t have an age limit.

I thought for sure she was going to include a solid yellow because of the quest for yellow, and I thought it would include more green. Maybe she was trying to do something universal. I do really like the colors in it, just saying it doesn't match what I think Theresa's "dream palette" would be.
I am pleasantly surprised how much I am enjoying the Geologie Pilbara palette. Have used it almost every day since i got it and have used some devinah singled with it. Ah! Just fantastic. Probably because it suits my olive skin tone and Starry Sky is phenomenal!!!

I think the Paris palette is kind of a darker, more vampy version of that one. And even tho I really like the colours, I fear that these are too dark for me. When I wear very dark shadows all over the lid I look like I just crawled out of a grave. I love the Glowish foundation. My favorite foundation is Mary Kay's CC Cream and it has SPF 15. If the Glowish had SPF it would be my favorite. Also I think the Saga of Freia Cat's Breath is great but I think the shimmers are not quite shimmer enough for me. BTW, today I used your Kaleidos pallette and the Capricorn pallette to create a green/yellow look. So good. I got so many compliments on it today. That dark green/Queen of Blades and the green shimmer/Firefly are amazing! I used the yellow matte from Capricorn on my inner eye. So good!!!!
I wanted to buy Blueberry Muffin after you liked it so much but for some reason i waited and then Passion in Paris came out... and this i bought instantly because i like these purply tones more. I feel like this will be the palette of the year, it's so cool! (I have Melt Muerte too and i think they are pretty similar in tones. Maybe a swatch comparison would be helpful for some people)
I just got a Fire palette from Asgard Queen, that really excited me (even more than her green palette Nerthus temple and I usually will choose a green over an orange!) I drooled over Loki as soon as I saw it and the two red mattes are pretty gorgeous! AsgardQueen really makes adorable little jewels of palettes, I cannot wait to play with it more! :)

The moment you said the Passion in Paris was the excellent quality, I ran. I ran and I regret nothing because it is STUNNING. May be even my favorite palette in my collection (dethroning Blueberry Muffin).
I don’t know what I’m doing with my life… I own Paris and I have yet to play with it which is so unlike me! Also, it’s so funny to me that people would feel negatively about the palette not representing the country, city or whatever… The name sets a mood, a theme, not a direct inspiration 😂
I can see Paris in the pallet only because the colors remind me of some famous works of art from Monet and others. The purple/blue shades reminds me of Water Lillies. I also am reminded of many of Degas studies of ballerinas. I think this pallet captured something of Paris. At least in some of the better known art work, but it is perhaps difficult to capture an entire location through color.
the look of the geologie palette, if bh had gone with that vibe for the birthstone palettes that would have been so much cooler! there is nothing desirable or cool about those birthstone palettes, i think the packaging is just so blah it looks like first year graphic design student work. idk what is going on with the graphics team at bh, half of their stuff is cool and then some of their stuff feels pretty low effort. they are really putting out great stuff, i wish that they were able to really consistently nail the graphics on their releases, bc if their packaging and concepts pulled you in the way colourpop's can, they would really be killing it. but yeah, that geologie palette is such a cool take on the theme of gemstones, it is unexpected and cool and feels current, they did such a great job, excited to see more from them.
I bought the Passion in Paris on Angie's recommendation and I also got the Club Nebula earlier this year - the dark mattes in both are almost (not quite) dupes! The BH palette is more neutral though, and that dark red/brown is my absolute favourite shadow right now!
The reason you don’t like the Vieve bronzer is the reason I bought it. When I saw the red on you I knew I needed it. Love that slightly sunburned look. Lol
I really love the sol body foundation. I've only used it on my face, but I really like the formula. I'm super oily (like, under the care of a dermatologist often kind of oily) and it didn't turn to sticky goop on my face! My skin murders foundation.
I bought the Oden’s Eye tears of Freja and Chapter 2 Cat with golden carriage. I like them both. I also got the Theresa is dead pallet with the eye liners. Loved it!!! I bought two more pallets from Lethal I loved her collection so much! 😄 I love your channel and usually agree with you, Angie. I’ll pick up the Paris pallet from BH eventually 🤩
I tried the Kosas concealer and didn't like it. It emphasized my crepey undereye skin. And it looked dry. My favorite recent purchase is the Sigma Ivy Palette. I saw Mel Thompson use it and bought it and OMG - I LOVE it. The formula is amazing and I can create so many looks with it. It's the perfect travel palette. Now, of course, I want to try more from Sigma.
Love mixing face products together as well the Becca skin tint you love just didn’t work for me at all coverage wise but as a mix in or primer under foundation it makes everything glowy and beautiful so still I’m glad I took your recommendation and bought it. I might even be sad that you can’t get it anywhere now

But those dark moody mattes filled a void I had been yearning for, and so affordable. Very curious for seeing your creative spin on the Wilderness Palette!
I am going to try the concealers you've shown here. I've been a long-time ride-or-die Pretty Vulgar "Pretty White Lies" concealer fan. I am not a 'spring chicken' so many concealers give me trouble. I've learned that for me, it is better to put the concealer in my inner corners and blend out but avoid my undereye with too many products. For a concealer to dethrone my PV concealer, it'll have to be magic. LOL! Love the roundup! I always look forward to seeing new stuff you've got to share and your opinions on what you thought at the end of its 'trial' so to speak. Thanks for all you do!
Really?! We have a BH cosmetics palette that is even better than the Blueberry muffin palette?! 🤩 I agree if a drugstore brand can deliver this kind of quality than what are some of the other even more expensive brands doing with their formulations. 🤨
Angie, have you ever given the We Makeup eyeshadows a try? I keep considering ordering a palette of mattes to try... But I already know I like the Lethal mattes a lot, so I'm not sure if I should just get more of those. 🤔 I'd also love to see a video on your favourite lip balms and treatments. You might be the only person on the planet who's tried more lip balms than me. But I'd LOVE to see categories of all sorts of lip balms, like: tinted lip oils, tinted balms, lip scrubs, best during the day, best for overnight (like, I prefer more waxy ones overnight, as they don't dry out), or just best of each formula: sticks, pots, and tubes. I don't know. I'd just love to see it, whichever way you'd prefer. ✌🏻 I haven't tried a whole lot of lip scrubs or potted balms, personally. I don't like having to stick my finger in something, and then have an oily finger... But if there are any lip treatments that are worth that, I'd still try them! I've spent probably around $500 just on lip balms, over the past 3 years. The best one I've tried, for day, is the Fresh Sugar balm (comes tinted and not). It contains emollients, occlusives, humectants, AND SPF! But it's also $34 CAD per tube, which is absolutelyyyyyy ridiculous. My lips love luxury, apparently. 😒 I'd love to find a replacement for that, because I feel stupid paying so much for a single tube of balm. They were on sale during Sephora's lipstick day (?) sale, so I did pick up one more. So I'm good for a while, but gonna need something for next time I run out. 😭 Finding a balm with the big 4 skincare hydrators is NOT easy (emollients, occlusives, yes, but also humectants and SPF? Nope).
Makeup revolution spends their budget on packaging. I think if they redirected it to formula, and went with simple packaging, they could be onto something. they already have a big fan base and most people I think agree formula is more important than packaging.
Its funny I didn’t like Fenty eaze drop by itself and the same for the huda glowish, I’ve been mixing both with other formulas but have never tried together, I’ll borrow your idea. I found the Fenty nice with the newer version of Mac face and body (it by itself is also too glowy for me), it makes a great combo. The revolution Renaissance eyeliner is really good, I used to like the fastbase stick foundation, I agree with you on the rest though it’s not worth spending the money to find that a product is a dud.
Having lived in Italy for three years now, I've cracked the Kiko special collection code. Holiday and summer have the best formulations and packaging. Spring and fall are great, but not AS good. Everything else is good to meh.
After your video with two looks from the Passion in Paris palette, I rushed right to the website and ordered it. I love it so much! You weren't kidding about the quality. We took a family vacation a couple weeks ago, and this was one of the two palettes I brought with me. I was waiting to see where you would rank the Colourpop Lush Life palette. I love Kaleidos but my eye lids don't, they itch like crazy whenever I use it!

I didn’t realize we are the same age. I thought you were so much younger than me. Like late 20s or VERY early 30s. However, that’s just another reason I love you so much. I love bold, bright, colorful eyeshadows and I always think I dress and wear makeup that’s too youthful for me, but you constantly remind me that makeup doesn’t have an age limit.

As someone who watches you often, your voice sounds a lot better in this video than a few videos ago where your voice made me pause and wonder if you were okay!! I hope it continues to improve and returns to baseline ASAP. I can’t imagine how frustrating your voice being/feeling off when you use it for your job!! I thought for sure she was going to include a solid yellow because of the quest for yellow, and I thought it would include more green. Maybe she was trying to do something universal. I do really like the colors in it, just saying it doesn't match what I think Theresa's "dream palette" would be.

I am pleasantly surprised how much I am enjoying the Geologie Pilbara palette. Have used it almost every day since i got it and have used some devinah singled with it. Ah! Just fantastic. Probably because it suits my olive skin tone and Starry Sky is phenomenal!!!

I wish BH would finally restock the Blueberry Muffin palette in Germany. I think the Paris palette is kind of a darker, more vampy version of that one. And even tho I really like the colours, I fear that these are too dark for me. When I wear very dark shadows all over the lid I look like I just crawled out of a grave. Not necessarily my own, because I couldn't find that one the night before 😂😂

I love the Glowish foundation. My favorite foundation is Mary Kay's CC Cream and it has SPF 15. If the Glowish had SPF it would be my favorite. Also I think the Saga of Freia Cat's Breath is great but I think the shimmers are not quite shimmer enough for me. BTW, today I used your Kaleidos pallette and the Capricorn pallette to create a
green/yellow look. So good. I got so many compliments on it today. That dark green/Queen of Blades and the green shimmer/Firefly are amazing! I used the yellow matte from Capricorn on my inner eye. So good!!!!
The BH amethyst (February) palette is excellent if you are looking for good purples. I reach for it more than palettes that cost a lot more.
I wanted to buy Blueberry Muffin after you liked it so much but for some reason i waited and then Passion in Paris came out... and this i bought instantly because i like these purply tones more. I feel like this will be the palette of the year, it's so cool!
(I have Melt Muerte too and i think they are pretty similar in tones. Maybe a swatch comparison would be helpful for some people)

I just got a Fire palette from Asgard Queen, that really excited me (even more than her green palette Nerthus temple and I usually will choose a green over an orange!) I drooled over Loki as soon as I saw it and the two red mattes are pretty gorgeous! AsgardQueen really makes adorable little jewels of palettes, I cannot wait to play with it more! :)
The colourpop Malibu Barbie palette reminds me a lot of the Morphe x Maddie Ziegler palette.
She had me at dead lizard skin under the eyes! 🦎

Also, it’s so funny to me that people would feel negatively about the palette not representing the country, city or whatever… The name sets a mood, a theme, not a direct inspiration 😂
I can see Paris in the pallet only because the colors remind me of some famous works of art from Monet and others. The purple/blue shades reminds me of Water Lillies.
I also am reminded of many of Degas studies of ballerinas.
I think this pallet captured something of Paris. At least in some of the better known art work, but it is perhaps difficult to capture an entire location through color.
the look of the geologie palette, if bh had gone with that vibe for the birthstone palettes that would have been so much cooler! there is nothing desirable or cool about those birthstone palettes, i think the packaging is just so blah it looks like first year graphic design student work. idk what is going on with the graphics team at bh, half of their stuff is cool and then some of their stuff feels pretty low effort. they are really putting out great stuff, i wish that they were able to really consistently nail the graphics on their releases, bc if their packaging and concepts pulled you in the way colourpop's can, they would really be killing it. but yeah, that geologie palette is such a cool take on the theme of gemstones, it is unexpected and cool and feels current, they did such a great job, excited to see more from them.
I bought the Passion in Paris on Angie's recommendation and I also got the Club Nebula earlier this year - the dark mattes in both are almost (not quite) dupes! The BH palette is more neutral though, and that dark red/brown is my absolute favourite shadow right now!

I really love the sol body foundation. I've only used it on my face, but I really like the formula. I'm super oily (like, under the care of a dermatologist often kind of oily) and it didn't turn to sticky goop on my face! My skin murders foundation.
I bought the Oden’s Eye tears of Freja and Chapter 2 Cat with golden carriage. I like them both. I also got the Theresa is dead pallet with the eye liners. Loved it!!! I bought two more pallets from Lethal I loved her collection so much! 😄 I love your channel and usually agree with you, Angie. I’ll pick up the Paris pallet from BH eventually 🤩

I tried the Kosas concealer and didn't like it. It emphasized my crepey undereye skin. And it looked dry. My favorite recent purchase is the Sigma Ivy Palette. I saw Mel Thompson use it and bought it and OMG - I LOVE it. The formula is amazing and I can create so many looks with it. It's the perfect travel palette. Now, of course, I want to try more from Sigma.

Love mixing face products together as well the Becca skin tint you love just didn’t work for me at all coverage wise but as a mix in or primer under foundation it makes everything glowy and beautiful so still I’m glad I took your recommendation and bought it. I might even be sad that you can’t get it anywhere now

I've got the Passion in Paris and Beauty Bay Wilderness palette in the mail for me, soooo excited! I haven't bought a palette in agggggesss, in fact I've been depotting palettes into singles! But those dark moody mattes filled a void I had been yearning for, and so affordable. Very curious for seeing your creative spin on the Wilderness Palette!
I am going to try the concealers you've shown here. I've been a long-time ride-or-die Pretty Vulgar "Pretty White Lies" concealer fan. I am not a 'spring chicken' so many concealers give me trouble. I've learned that for me, it is better to put the concealer in my inner corners and blend out but avoid my undereye with too many products. For a concealer to dethrone my PV concealer, it'll have to be magic. LOL! Love the roundup! I always look forward to seeing new stuff you've got to share and your opinions on what you thought at the end of its 'trial' so to speak. Thanks for all you do!

I'd also love to see a video on your favourite lip balms and treatments. You might be the only person on the planet who's tried more lip balms than me. But I'd LOVE to see categories of all sorts of lip balms, like: tinted lip oils, tinted balms, lip scrubs, best during the day, best for overnight (like, I prefer more waxy ones overnight, as they don't dry out), or just best of each formula: sticks, pots, and tubes. I don't know. I'd just love to see it, whichever way you'd prefer. ✌🏻
I haven't tried a whole lot of lip scrubs or potted balms, personally. I don't like having to stick my finger in something, and then have an oily finger... But if there are any lip treatments that are worth that, I'd still try them!
I've spent probably around $500 just on lip balms, over the past 3 years. The best one I've tried, for day, is the Fresh Sugar balm (comes tinted and not). It contains emollients, occlusives, humectants, AND SPF! But it's also $34 CAD per tube, which is absolutelyyyyyy ridiculous. My lips love luxury, apparently. 😒 I'd love to find a replacement for that, because I feel stupid paying so much for a single tube of balm.
They were on sale during Sephora's lipstick day (?) sale, so I did pick up one more. So I'm good for a while, but gonna need something for next time I run out. 😭
Finding a balm with the big 4 skincare hydrators is NOT easy (emollients, occlusives, yes, but also humectants and SPF? Nope).
I do have several videos using and swatching the WE makeup eyeshadows :)

Makeup revolution spends their budget on packaging. I think if they redirected it to formula, and went with simple packaging, they could be onto something. they already have a big fan base and most people I think agree formula is more important than packaging.

Its funny I didn’t like Fenty eaze drop by itself and the same for the huda glowish, I’ve been mixing both with other formulas but have never tried together, I’ll borrow your idea. I found the Fenty nice with the newer version of Mac face and body (it by itself is also too glowy for me), it makes a great combo.
The revolution Renaissance eyeliner is really good, I used to like the fastbase stick foundation, I agree with you on the rest though it’s not worth spending the money to find that a product is a dud.
Having lived in Italy for three years now, I've cracked the Kiko special collection code. Holiday and summer have the best formulations and packaging. Spring and fall are great, but not AS good. Everything else is good to meh.
