A really great content, I really love the video after I overlooked your innermost urge to say the word guy". Like you said options can either be profitable to you or it can take from you, so in trading options it's important to have a well established trading system and strategy to guide you before engaging the market.

Excellent beginner video. I have 3 open contracts. 2 of them broke even within hours of purchase on July 5th. Before close of market I was up $3 on a $25 option for a 2.50 strike price. $2.78/share before market close. I will close these around $2.90. both options exact amounts different expiration. The 3rd option expires next year and only needs 37 cents to break even but has only gone up for 5 years! I need the advanced class. I'm subscribing to your channel.

Creating Wealth Project so question for you.. let’s say I but a call option and I’m in the money so I’m ready to exercise my contract. Would I have to pay for the 100 shares at the break even price before I can sell those 100 for the profit? Or do I just have to pay the premium and I get paid the profit from each share? So is the premium the only capital I need to profit from a call?

This video was the first that I’ve watched that has finally made some things click. I’m completely new to stocks in general and have been doing a lot of research. I went to a seminar for something completely different than stocks. They had a guest speaker who spoke on options for maybe a half an hour. It made me really want to start looking into it. Of course, he wanted like $800 for some class right then and there... which is infeasible for a broke college kid with no financial support other than their own. So since then I’ve ordered a few books and started watching videos online. This is the first video that hasn’t made my eyes cross or completely loss me at some point. In short, thank you. However, I worry now that I wouldn’t be approved because of my financials and having little experience. I had figured I could start small and as it grows keep investing back into it. 🤔

    Great video.
Maybe make one with all the lingo definitions. Strike price etc...
When it says for beginners it should be for beginners.
There was a lot of talk here and lingo that a person that doesn’t know anything about this would not get.
Start with definitions of all the terms your going to use and then continue with the explanations of options.

The maximum you can lose on an option is the premium you pay for it. If you buy an option for $40 ($0.40/share), the maximum amount you can lose is $40.00, but the leverage on the profit is 100×/contract, if the price changes in the desired direction quickly enough.

Noob here, thanks for a much better explanation than I've seen elsewhere! Question, is it safter to buy call options at a lower strike price? IE: Current value at $10 and buy at strike price of $13 versus $15. Do you make more money if you bet on a higher strike price? My understanding that I will make more money as the value goes past the strike price. So why would I bet at a highter strike price? Thanks much if you can help me understand a little more!

Its cool watching this in 2019 seeing how some of those must have turned out. Couple questions: 1. does it force you to buy 100 shares, so that when the option expires you CAN buy UP TO 100 shares, or does that mean you MUST buy ALL 100 when it expires? Second, is the price of the option, paid for every stock, or just once for the entire set of stocks in the option as a whole?

    Question!!!
    "gives the 'Buyer" the right..."
On this, are we the "Buyer", or is it another party?

I am thinking about snagging a load of Go Pro shares while they're this low and staying long with them, do you think it'll shoot back up?
