This works well in the jig borer because spindle run out is eliminated by the adjustable collet chuck or using the Moore solid toolholder, so the only runout error left is in the probe itself. I will mention this later in another video, the probe can be used to touch off an edge accurately if the high or low spot is known, and then rotate the high spot at a right angle to that edge. This probe not as reliable in regular machines and their tool holders.
Moore jig bores and grinders are such high quality that even if You see a Moore clamp for table clamping marked " Moore, You will pay quite a bit of money. Moore Parallels or 1,2,3 blocks are very expensive used
The little tiny toolmakers knee cost close to $4000, "a 2"X2" angle plate, but a jig borer and now a jig grinder are a couple hundred dollars. and you do know who bad mouthed these machines, claimed to use one as a drill press, yes it was that backwater machine tool dealer posing as a machine god. Those paying bank for Moore trinkets certainly could not make a video using those items of gold. Good to hear from you Dan, you are good guy!
I try to use the federal indicators they show up good and the last word is ok, the best indicator Interapid shows up the worst. I will try a polarizing filter! There are people where I am that have helped me and are better and smarter than me. I am told there is no way they would put their mug on YT, assbook,Twitter or any of it. That is a fact. I find it funny to find myself doing videos in this ridiculous cyber world, but it seems to be appreciated by quite a few.
I didn’t know there was an electronic edge finder that connected into a DRO, only seen a light indicating one in a video. Thanks for sharing!

The smoothness of the table is really something. In Texas we would say it is smooth as a Gravy Sandwich
The table floats on oil when you give it a shot of lube, making it smooth and reduces wear it has flat ways and a dovetail
