I agree with Benny. I am a 63 year old ARMY from Canada and I couldn't love BTS more. I flew down to Vegas for 2 of their concerts and it was the best experience. I have been to hundreds of concerts for so many amazing artists..from Elton John, Prince, Michael Jackson, Springsteen, Paul McCartney, John Cougar, and so many more and nothing compares to a BTS concert. It's almost impossible to explain the phenomenon of BTS to anyone who isn't willing to look into them beyond a very surface level. They are hard working, humble individuals with an amazing appreciation for their fans. Their lyrics are deep and meaningful and their messaging is so positive. They are philanthropists making massive changes to the world. It's a deep, deep hole and so worth the dive. It's too bad the sound cut out half way through, I was very much enjoying the interview. Thank you Benny for the incredible collab.
yes and they do this without knowing it. all they want is to make good music and tell their story. they don´t want the responsibility of changing the world they never see themself as anything special. and it makes us relate to them more. it´s not a publicity stunt to make money, they are just being themself. that´s why i can´t support other kpop bands. there is just no one like them
@@lealarsen2017 That's what some people don't understand. There has never been anyone like them - not The Beatles or Michael Jackson. They are a once in a lifetime and at 62 I'm immeasurably grateful they're in mine. 💜

I'm 64 and discovered them in 2021. I was lucky enough to get 3 tickets (a very stressful online experience) to D3 at LV for myself, my grown son and his girlfriend. They helped me navigate the crowds, and we had so much fun - a dream come true! The best bonding experience! Then I took them to see Coldplay in AZ - another joyful show! I'm on a roll now, having purchased tickets for other big-name shows in the next 6 months. Checking things off my bucket list!💜💜💜

I also agree with Bennie but I am 74 years old ARMY. The oldest BTS ARMY that I have come across is 89 years old. I love BTS, I love them because they saved me from falling into a deep depression when my mom passed away. They comfort me when I couldn't go outside because of the Pandemic. BTS is so full of Love and they show it through their dance and music. They are different and their music encourages love and ignores hate. They have tuned into and are against Racism of any kind. They are about saving us as people and the world. These are true artists and best believe me when I say this because some of the artists out there are about greed and misogyny behavior. We need more groups like them but there is only one BTS!
I saw a grandpa army wearing a sign said something about he is 92 at the LA concert. I, myself am 65 and I went to LA concert with 3 other older than myself friends. We sang, screamed and on our feet for the whole time like when we were young.

You don't need a therapist once you discover BTS' music, talents, artistry, personality, authenticity and goofiness. They teach you lessons in life, inspires you and promotes love and kindness. They quote phrases that your parents, teachers, therapists, self-help books did not say to you in your lifetime. They're truly a happy pill to me - I'm 65!

Let me clarify, ARMY is from 3 to 92 from the research I've done as a fandom positivity & Diversity researcher. I am a 56 Indo-Carribbean woman, and have been a fan x 8 years. I am an anomaly in this fandom yet somehow I'm the NORM! We are a diverse fandom made up of every gender, race, age, demography, and professional skill pool. You will find us in the remotest village & biggest cities. Yes we are a movement & that's because Bangtan's music, lyrics, speeches and philosophy is about self-love, self-value, equality, hope, perseverance, acceptance, and they live their message. They are the quirkiest, most Down to earth, humble, loving, ridiculously hilarious goofballs who have given us thousands of hours of pure joy, stress relief, fun and 100% connective & relatable content. They treat ARMY as equal partners and we exist in synergy. Being in a concert is like being with an 80,000 strong family meeting up with their 7 kids, siblings, friends, BFFs, in a circle of Warm Inclusive Brilliance. Imagine 80,000 voices singing, chanting, laughing In unison. It's indescribable and trust me I've been to many concerts in my life and there is NOTHING that can really explain what's it like to feel that much unconditional, amazing energy and love.

I have only ever been to one concert in my almost 60 years and that only because my friends wanted to go not because I wanted to go. So you have the knowledge and the experience to back this up. I'm 64 and love BTS!
56 year old former dancer and choreographer- came across my boys after DNA performance at 2017 AMA but really fell down the rabbit hole after ON video!! They are talented beyond explanation! ALL 7 of them are absolutely integral in the group!! They are 7 different men with completely different personalities- but when they come together and all do "their" special thing- its MIND BLOWING!!! I saw them on the theatre screen with Seoul performance. Their music scans many genre's. I remember when "Blue and Grey" came out and I was at a particularly low point- I watched that video in my gym on a big screen for probably 2 hours. They can reach in- lovingly- and touch your soul!! They have honestly saved me many times over- I am beyond blessed to have found them and forever grateful!!! "we are we are together- Bulletproof!" #army

My daughter who was 14 at the time back in feb 2015 showed me a mv of war of hormones which was my first taste of BTS and i was hooked lol. Im now 53 and my daughter 21 and we are still diehard ARMY. We've seen them live at the rosebowl and had tix for dallas bf covid hit.

Same here, i took a 2hours flight alone for the first time in my life 3 years ago to their 2 days paris show and it's the best memory of my life
I was able to attend 2 concerts in LA and standing in line with all army from all over the world... None of them asked a bit about my age (74)... The questions were all have you seen them before? who is your bias? how did you become ARMY? That kind of thing.

Hey Benny same... the obsession with credits? It's actually why I'm a BTS ARMY. When I like their songs and performances I check the credits, who wrote and produced and mixed. Found out bts members' names come up every time. So I checked their discography and wow I found a lot that I really loved and that most of them were written or produced by the boys.

I always thought that BTS is always one level higher, one big step higher than all these haters and people who mock them publicly. They always show their maturity and genuine hearts. They want to make world a better place. They are very passionate and so hard-working. I can't describe how much I admire them. It is bangtan sonyeondan. There isn't any group in the world similar to these 7 unique boys. They will always win.

aww thank you benny you get how it is to be an army. and yes it´s so hard to explain, you simply can´t. army is a feeling of belonging. like a safe place where they wont be judged by others and loved no matter how you look or how old you are. and every stereotype is gone, you can dress up however you like and people will just welcome you with no question asked. men talk about football, woman about fashion and so on, but once they find BTS they will unite and have something in common. imagine if you could enjoy BTS with your whole family without feeling like they do it for your sake only and get bored. it does not matter if you are rich, poor, handicapped or sick, no matter what religion you have. everyone is welcomed and never looked down upon and treated the same.
just like benny was treated as a fellow army and friend when he went to the forest with the USB. but people outside can never understand it, they would just think they are a popular boyband. it´s like a safe place for me filled with positive and open-minded people. sorry if my english is not the best

Benny is a gift to ARMYs. He's so cool, so brilliant, so fun and so talented. This collaboration resulted in an amazing song, a super hit, that I'm enjoying every day. The videos that have been released related to Bad Decisions are so creative and fun to watch. I'm totally in love with Benny, and BTS is just my favorite group of people in the world.

I agree with all the comments and thanks Benny for trying to describe and portray a BTS concert!!!! I am 57 and knew of BTS from talk shows and interviews but it was the week they were on Jimmie Fallon in Sept 2020 that pushed me into the most incredible rabbit hole and I have never looked back!!! It was a tough time with COVID then and not being able to travel and see family and friends - they filled that void in an indescribable way! They are so fun to watch and I don’t know of any other shows that make you feel great, have you laughing out loud and still bring a tear like their Run BTS, In the Soops, Bon Voyage or just any video you find about them on TH-cam. I was fortunate enough to see them twice in LA and twice in Vegas - and yes I’ve been to the best concerts in my life from The Weekend, to Pink, to Barbara Streisand and none of them come close to a BTS concert!!! It is filled with the most amazing fans, of all walks of life who are so loyal and dedicated and the engagement of BTS and ARMY it is like having a family reunion with 80,000 of your closest friends and family!!! I just returned from a 4 week trip of a lifetime in Korea - thanks to BTS who taught me about a country I knew nothing about!!! Besides wishing all 7 members the greatest of futures, I only hope that they somehow know at least a tiny bit, the impact they have made on so many people - thanks BTS for coming into my life!!!!!!
