    Nice work. Keep pumping these gems out. We need a bigger Pathfinder community on TH-cam. And I'm way too lazy to do it. These are high quality MK.

    Thank you for making the lore of pathfinder so much more accessible and easy to ingest.

    There are a lot of neat concepts here. I like how the approach to worship and what a deity's 'duties' are seems distinct compared to the material plane. I also like this concept that the Fey Pantheon are younger Gods, it seems to imply that in this universe a realm without Gods will spontaneously create Gods. And that's a very interesting idea to have floating around in an rpg setting.

      Check my planar cosmology series! Inner Planes Part 2 has a whole section on the First World.

    Glad to have someone going through the lore, don't be afraid to do deep dives not just shorter content.

    I know I’m not the first to mention it, but I would love a vid explaining the organizational method you use for all these pantheons in more detail. If nothing else, it would make for a nice reference for homebrewing one’s own pantheon(s) like I like to do at times 😃
    EDIT: also, one does not simply say a phrase like “the season of carnivorous light” and then just leave it there without adding some context. Why so cruel, MK? 🥺

    • @TheMythkeeper
      @TheMythkeeper  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Haha! The Season of Carnivorous Light and other seasons like it are seasons that occur in the First World but don't have a direct parallel in our world. And the season is pretty much as the name suggests... you want to stay away from the bright spots. :-D

    @grave6983 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Nice!! Just started Kingmaker 2e, and I know from the player's guide that Fey are involved, but haven't interacted with them nor played the CRPG/original campaign, so I appreciate you not including spoilers🙏 That said, would definitely be interested in a long-form video/series about any campaigns/adventure paths you personally recommend. Do you have any additional socials to follow BTW?

    • @TheMythkeeper
      @TheMythkeeper  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Once I get through a lot of the lore content I do think I may start a series on specific adventure paths that my group has run, but that's probably a little way off to be honest. I've now got a pretty packed schedule already! I'm not on any other socials right now - just the TH-cam channel - but I do check all the comments so if you want to reach me this is the best place for now.

    This is fantastic! Any chance you're going to do the Elder Gods, aka the Lovecraftian esc gods in Pathfinder? Planning an Aberrant Bloodline Sorcerer, so wanted to know potential divine connections.

    This is great! Any chance you could do one on the Runelords? Between Rise of the Runelords, Shattered Star and Return of the Runelords, there's a fascinating history I'd love to see compiled.

    Just gonna throw this out there. Magdh should be pronounced Maeve, lentition of the consonents as in the Gaelic tongues. I mean she is like the most Celtic inspired of the Eldest.
    Just started playing a bard who worships her. That sweet fey obedience is gonna kick butt when I hit 3rd level. War for the Crown campaign, fyi.
    The Celebrity Archetype Bard is desceded through matrelineal descent from a Leanan Sidhe. The other players don't know that yet. No special powers just an excuse for an insatiable, devouring lust for beauty and love in my RP.
    A Pathfinder character that is one part WoD Victorian Toreador and one part Cyberpunk Rockerboy.

    • @TheMythkeeper
      @TheMythkeeper  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's awesome that you're about to play War for the Crown. I've played through it once as a player before and I'm about to run it for my first time with a new group of players and I'm pretty psyched about being on the other side of it this time.
      I think you're absolutely right about Magdh. Thanks for pointing that out.

    I've seen some people suggest that the Lost Prince might be Aroden. Do you have any thoughts on this take?

    • @TheMythkeeper
      @TheMythkeeper  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know, it feels like speculation to me. There is a lot of evidence that Aroden died. Ultimately its up to you what works for you and your group in your games.

      @brendantuthill6491 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheMythkeeper the Lost Prince's origins are certainly the kind of mystery that keeps me up at night, but I admittedly don't have an extensive background knowledge on Pathfinder. Thanks for the vids, as always, can't wait for the next one

      For this video there isn't a lot of canon art so I actually drew heavily from this site: www.angelarium.net/
      Just lots of weird and wonderful creations in there
